11th May 2017 marks the soft launch of Bespoke Living, a lifestyle store curated by Schezene Khan, for her love of all things beautiful.

The store is located in Scotts Square, Singapore, and comprises homeware collections from all over the world. Each piece has the “Bespoke Living” grandeur, and one is spoilt for choice with the variation in designs, not to mention good value for money.

We couldn’t help but indulge as I, for one, have a weakness for candles and candle holders – ceramic, silver or metallic.

The set of agate napkin holders, the triple-tiered bird cage dessert servers and crystal candelabras are particularly eye-catching. The beautifully laid-out trays, gorgeous place-mats, and an exquisitely crafted set of tables are a pleasant mix of old-school and peppy-chic.

When Schezene moved to Singapore 10 years ago, she realized that everything she needed for home decor to make her house unique was either too expensive here, or not available at all. Having grown up seeing her paternal grandmother and mother throw beautiful parties and decorate their homes always with a personal touch developed within Schezene a love and interest in home decorating. Inspired, Schezene decided to make home ware from around the world within reach in Singapore.

The Bespoke Living store opened in December 2016, making it relatively new in Singapore. Schezene tested market waters with a pop-up store in Scotts Square Mall, before moving into a physical shop on B1 of the same mall.

Sourcing products was not difficult, but this being her first time in retail, everything was new to her. She pushes ahead with tremendous support from her husband, friends and family. Every item in Bespoke Living is handpicked or sourced personally by Schezene, making it unique and personal, a breath of fresh air for individuals who take particular joy, pride and interest in decorating their homes. This surely sets Bespoke Living apart.

Bespoke Living is about getting both unique and beautiful things sourced from around the world. We cater to all budgets and want our customers to enjoy the personal touch that we extend to them with home delivery and custom orders.
