There are many people who are amazed at the fact that they are able to know their future and what the different issues in their lives mean either through psychic reading or tarot reading. Most psychics use their divination or their ability on seeing what the future tells for a person. They use different ways of reading a person’s future and tarot cards are some of the oldest method used since the ancient times.

Tarot readings are so ‘in’ right now at restaurants, parties, and hotels that I began to ask people around me – those that get them done regularly, and whom they recommended. I did my research, dug around the names and information and got to the bottom of all the hype. My personal favorite is a lady named Salina Pirzada who’s a Karachi – based Tarot card reader. She has been in this business for more than ten years and has completed a clinical therapy course. This certification allows her a deeper insight into her clients needs and also helps her counsel them better.

What is Tarot?

The tarot is unknown; it has been linked with the Italian Renaissance, ancient Egypt, the Middle East, and western gypsies. There are two types of tarot cards, the original major Arcana consisting of 22 cards, and the 56 minor Arcana cards. Each holds a symbolic picture. So, when the cards are set out in a spread, they can be read and interpreted

How did you learn to read tarot cards? How and when did you discover you had this particular ability?

Well it’s a long story but to cut it short, my very close friend was doing tarot professionally and she used to do my readings. I developed a keen interest in it and since I was already interested in numerology and astrology I read about it. I researched a lot and soon picked up on it.

Tell me a little bit about yourself and how you were drawn to Tarot. What is your style for a Tarot reading?

I remember that I started having dreams at a very early point in my life. But I had no clue that they held any significance. I started sharing these incidents with my friends and family and to my surprise, some of the incidents that I predicted, occurred in reality. That’s when I realized I had a certain kind of power and began to read tarot professionally.

How can people, in your opinion, benefit from a Tarot reading?

The way I work is a little different; when my clients come to me I am able to recognize their need of visiting me. I use tarot cards to understand an individual’s personality, traits and get a clearer vision of their current state of mind. I have completed a clinical therapy course, so I combine these insights with counseling. This helps me to guide and aid my clients in the best way possible.

When and where do you read? Do we need an appointment? How long is your session?

I take these tarot sessions at my residence. Yes, you do need an appointment prior to your reading. The session lasts for about an hour.

In your opinion, how often should someone be consulting a Tarot reader? Is there ever a time when it’s too much?

It really depends on an individual’s need. I have clients who visit me twice or thrice a week and others that come once a month.

What’s a typical day like for a tarot card reader? What’s your usual schedule?

I am an early riser. My sessions usually start in the afternoon so before that, I organize my household. I usually get done with my reading by 6 pm. Later, I choose to spend time with my family. I am a person who enjoys multiple hobbies that include painting and gardening. I usually work on projects within the house which keeps me busy.

You have a natural talent for a tarot reading, but is it possible to learn how to read tarot cards? How would one go about learning this skill?

Of course! Why not. In fact, I’ve taught tarot to quite a few people. The only thing to keep in my mind is that you have to be honest about the art. Tarots take in a lot of the energy you create, therefore it is essential that, in order for it to give you the best answers, you must respect it.

What is the most misunderstood thing about spirituality?

I think the biggest misconception about tarot reading is that people believe it has the power to change your life or is meant to tell your fortune or future.

I always tell my clients that the tarots are here to give you the guidance that you need in order to tackle a certain situation. The most powerful sources of information come from within; the Tarot only aids in guiding you to that path.

How have tarot cards helped you in your life?

Like everyone else in this world, I too had my share of trials that I dealt with in my life. As a young single mother, I was always uncertain about what the future might hold for me. But this work has brought me closer to God and the numerous blessings he brought to my life. I have learned to appreciate the smaller things in life that bring joy and happiness to me.
