Korean Skincare Brands To Go Kray Over!

Until a few years ago, hardly anyone knew or at least spoke about Korean skincare products. From essences to sheet masks, K-beauty products and trends are taking over the Singapore Market. If it isn’t their glass-like skins and flawless complexions, it’s their makeup tints and unconventional trends that have us constantly browsing what’s new. Since there is so much out there, we decided to narrow it down to 3 top skin care brands and further picked the best out of those to get you started.

1. SULWHASOO

This one is on top of the list! Sul – Wha – Soo which literally means snow – flower – phenomenal certainly holds true to its name.

SULWHASOO Skincare

Their First Care range is fantastic and is raved by celebs and novices alike.

Activating Serum EX: This signature serum has revolutionized skincare routines. Applied as the first step after cleansing and toning to restore the skin’s balance and boost, following treatments’ efficacy.

Essential Balancing Water EX: This product is actually a toner which soothes and hydrates, leaving your skin supple. Apply morning and night after cleansing.

Essential Balancing Emulsion EX: The essential lotion is used as a moisturizer which softens skin texture, to leave skin dewy and smooth. Applied on top of the serum and before your sunblock or makeup.

2. INNISFREE

The brand says Innisfree is one of the first all-natural cosmetics South Korean brands bringing nature’s natural benefits from Jeju Island. Innisfree is also an eco-friendly brand and has a wide range of products catering to different skin needs.

Their Green Tea range is worth a try. I tried it and loved it!

Green Tea Cleansing Water: The cleansing water is made with double-squeezed Jeju green tea extract. It gently lifts away dirt, oil and make-up in just one swipe, and is suitable for all skin types.

Green Tea Balancing Skin EX: A quick-absorbing toner that delivers hydration to help maintain skin’s oil-water balance for hydrated, healthy-looking skin. To be used after cleansing and before moisturizing.

Green Tea Sleeping Mask: This overnight mask delivers hydration and anti-oxidants from Jeju green tea extract to awaken the skin and leave it looking dewy and feeling well-hydrated. Apply at night after cleansing and toning.

3. LANEIGE

We are in love with the Water Bank range from Laneige. As the name depicts, it’s super hydrating!

Laneige Skincare

Water Bank Hydro Essence: A hydrating essence enriched with the Green Mineral Water from vegetables for a moist and clearer skin. Apply after cleansing am and pm.

Water Bank Moisture Mist: A facial mist made from the same ingredients as the Essence to fortify the skin barrier and moisturize the skin. If you want something to quench the skin’s thirst but not creamy, this is the type of moisturiser that you need.

Water Bank Double Gel Soothing Mask: These Hydro-gel-type moisturizing, soothing facial masks hug the face as they alleviate stress in skin. The packet holds five sheets and you can treat yourself to at least once a week if not more, for that extra boost of hydration.
