Stack, is tucked away in Jalan Klapa, one of the side roads near Arab Street and can be spotted by the yellow and white feature wall proudly shouting out the words “STACK” and attracting passers-by into the cosy café.

Although there is limited capacity outdoors, there is an indoor space shared with another company Camelia & Co. which extends to the back and is usually pretty busy.

The staff is really friendly and ready to answer any queries you may have.

As the name suggests, STACK serves sandwiches, pancakes, and desserts. Along with teas, coffees and soft drinks in true café style.

We tried out and enjoyed these yummy sandwiches. What we loved about them most is the bread which is baked in-house. Although these were served in sourdough bread, there is also the option of the same being served in a bagel. Each sandwich is served with a side of Nachos, those too are prepared in-house.

Deli Alli – $9.90

Hickory Turkey Ham, Beef Pepperoni, Dill-Brined Chicken Breast, Pomegranate Aioli, Seedy Slaw, Bruised Tomatoes, Garden Greens

STACK RESTAURANT REVIEW - EVERYTHING STACKED!

A very filling sandwich for those who want a balanced mix of meats without an overpowering taste of either. Stuffed with crunchy vegetables and a mild sauce added for flavour, this one is certainly meant for a very western palette.

Blue Steel – $7.90

Crockpot Chicken, Sriracha Aioli, Seedy Slaw, Bruised Tomatoes, Garden Greens, Fresh Jalapeños

STACK RESTAURANT REVIEW - EVERYTHING STACKED!

Delicious yet spicy – certainly not for the faint-hearted. There is a generous serving of meat in the sandwich which is bursting with flavours. Be careful with those juices dripping from the sandwich as it’s pretty stuffed.

Pancakes

Fluffy pancakes stacked in piles of deliciousness in many flavours. This is what the crowds actually come here for; especially for breakfast or to indulge in a dessert.

The Fluff Monster which flaunts one large Marshmallow in the centre and smothered with lots of chocolatey Nutella-goodness is their best seller.

While the Fred Berry with the blue berry flavoured cream cheese and a burst of berrylicious flavours is what FUCHSIA recommends.

Top left: Fluff Monster $10.90

Top right: Pillow Fight $10.90

Bottom left: Fred Berry $9.90

Bottom Right: Basic Betty $8.90

The cafe is part of the chain of restaurants owned by THE BLACK HOLE Group and is Halal Certified.

HOURS: 10am to 10pm
