Naimal Khawar and Hamza Ali Abbasi are now officially Mr. & Mrs! On Sunday the 25th of August, they tied the knot in an intimate celebration with family and friends. The celebration was held at the Monal Restaurant in Islamabad and was attended by well-known Pakistani celebrities. Their close friends, singer Atif Aslam, Uzair Jaswal and Gohar Rasheed were amongst the few to attend.
Three Things We Loved About #HamzaWedsNaimal
1) Away From The Public Eye
From the start, Naimal and Hamza kept their relationship low-key from the public. It was only a few days ago that Hamza Ali Abbasi reluctantly made a public statement when their wedding invitation was leaked online.

In a time where celebrities choose to live their lives online, both of them chose not to intentionally create a media frenzy. Even though Hamza Ali Abbasi is known for sharing his (oftentimes controversial) sentiments online, he decided this was a moment to be savored privately.
Maybe, this is a moment of learning for today’s youth who share even their merest thoughts online. Some things are better left away from the public eye.
2) The Hand-holding!
We can see, from the videos posted on various social media platforms, how happy Naimal is – if that’s not enough to convince you, look at them holding hands throughout the day! So wholesome and adorable.
3) Naimal Wears Her Mother’s Wedding Dress

Naimal chose to honor her mother and wore her vintage nikah outfit.
With the help of designer Maheen Shah, she was able to make this dream a reality.
With minimalistic makeup, simple sleek hairdo and traditional jewelry – she was transformed into a Mughal princess. Her old-world charm is sure to influence the wedding outfit trends this season.
We can’t wait for the trend she’s set, to take off! Let us know if you’ll be wearing something similar in the future.

Nikah Namaa – What You’re Probably Missing Out On
Areesha Khan harbours a burning passion for writing. This is what she has to say for herself:
I’m your average Pakistani Millennial who loves binge watching trash-TV. When I can, I try to widen my horizons and watch profound works of cinematography as well. In the wild, I can be found sniffing my weathered paperbacks. I regularly obsess over true crime (much to the chagrin of my friends) and love discussing it unprompted. I’m currently working on my undergrad and would love to have a profession in print media.
