The funny thing about Turkish dramas is, that they were popular with our parents’ generation, AND our nanis and daadis, and now – they’re making a comeback with the Millenials!

Are you tired of watching Pakistani dramas? Oh well, even if you’re perfectly happy with Meray Paas Tum Ho, Alif, Ehd-e-Wafa … to name a few, there’s no harm in venturing to the other side, variety is the spice of life after all!

So here’s our list of Top 5 Turkish drama and why they made it to our watch list!

1. Ask-i Memnu (Forbidden Love) 4/5

A tale of forbidden love that will keep you hooked till the last episode. The story revolves around a secret affair and how that creates the impact on the family. Great actors and a good, interesting story line. Watch promo here.
