Lipton Pakistan wins with Jagao Umeed Saath Reh Kar!

Tea time with Liton

The chai brand recently launched a digital film, highlighting the theme of togetherness with the thought ‘Jagao Umeed Saath Reh Kar.’ As raw footage shot by the people themselves, flooded our screen, we felt a heart-warming connection to the times we’ve all spent together in Corona lockdown, and we instantly relived our special moments

Covid has restricted our mobility and forced us to reinvent online content

In every challenge, there is hope, and Lipton has moved forward with the same theme – umeed. The times unfolded online as we gravitated towards creating organic, and often live footage, to put out the message of hope, love and togetherness. Chai is a drink that bring us together as communities and Lipton Pakistan captured these moments aptly – the results are magical.

The film reminded us that the simplest interactions in our lives can be the most precious.

Add to this, a cup of Lipton Tea by your side, (and no one’s complaining) because the chai just seems to set the mood, as naturally as the unfiltered images that fill the screen.

Corona Lock down has made people feel lost and uncertain about the future. But it has also forced us to revisit a time when we found joy in simple things – like making a pizza with family, playing Ludo in the living room, or just spending time with grand parents.

The pandemic has made us realize how much we needed to connect with, and not just STAY in the same home as our loved ones. Perhaps that in itself is the biggest takeaway from these times.

And also the realization that although we feel lost, if we have our loved ones by our side, we can conquer anything!

Of course, this is the digital age, so bonding time extended to Zoom meetings with family & friends as well as Live sessions with celebrities.

The ability of the human mind to innovate, and create something beautiful from its darkest moments is perhaps, what fairy tales are made of.

But in present times, the fairy tale came alive as communities connected online to expose an unfiltered part of their lives to each other – be it baking cookies in their kitchen, or singing songs online with no background score.

Celebrities and fans shared some poignant moments as Live feeds took over our evenings and we could connect with our larger-than-life screen idols from the comfort of our homes.

Whether you’re on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram or Twitter, Jagao Umeed Saath Reh Kar is with you.

The most endearing part of the film is undoubtedly the fact that, most of the footage in the film has been shot by the people themselves

Watching the film brought back tender family moments we’ve all experienced at some point over the past few months. As the saying goes:

“Out of Adversity, Comes Opportunity”

So put on that kettle, brew some chai and share the most precious moments of your life with those who matter the most.

Jagaen Umeed Khushion Ke sip le kar,

Ghar Mein Reh Kar,

Apnon Ke Paas Reh Kar

Watch the film and go make yourself a cup of tea, to sip with a loved one of course!
