Marking the 73rd Independence Day for Pakistan & India this weekend, See Prime, the digital entertainment platform recently launched by SEEME Productions, has released ‘Champa Chambeli’. The short film narrates an enticing tale of finding friendship across Indo-Pak borders that goes beyond politics and fights.

‘Champa Chambeli’ is a light-hearted take against the on going Indo-Pak hostility.

Furthermore, it follows the story of two hopeless romantics from across the borders, who in search of love end up crossing paths virtually. As they form a new friendship, the duo embark on an online mission to rekindle the dying friendship between the two nations through YouTube.

Produced by Seemeen Naveed, the film is written and directed by Hisham Bin Munawwar who is also the director of Amna Ilyas’ 2019 romantic comedy ‘Ready, Steady, No’. Moreover, the cast of this See Prime
Original includes the multi-talented Salman Shahid, Sarmad Aftab, Kanwal Aslam & Momina Farooq Khan. We’ve all been raving about the Lux Style Award winner Salman Shahid since his Teen Bata Teen days and can’t wait to see his performance in Champa Chambeli along with the rest of the cast!

Our expectations for this film were already quite high but now the bombardment of positive reviews are only raising the bar! Go stream now and let us know what you think.
