Minal explains that it’s important for parents to encourage sharing and not spoil their children.
Nisha is a girl who wants the best in life. Her jealousy is not only limited to her sister but it’s developed since childhood. Nisha has a habit of wanting everything that is better than what she has. It takes her to an extreme extent. Minal calls out to parents that they must pay heed to upbringing, to not giving in to their children’s wants and desires always, to communicating with them when they spot that something is not right.
What made Minal Khan sign the script of “Jalan”?
Minal talked about the reasons which encouraged her to sign this drama serial in an interview.
‘I took this risk only for my fans’. She further added ‘I want my fans to appreciate and differentiate the characters I play’.
Minal Khan replied to why she chose this negative character
Minal wants her fans to know she can’t always play a victim or an emotional character ‘masoom and bechari’. She emphasized how eagerly she wants to perform different characters instead of performing mainstream ‘bechari and masoom’ roles.
Jalan posed a challenge for Minal Khan
Minal stated that another reason for signing Nisha’s role was to test her versatility, acting skills and strength. The actress further explained that ‘I had to use my eyes and not let my evil side show on my face’.
Minal further highlighted:
‘It became a big responsibility for me to carry this character till the end and make sure the audience is hooked till the end of the episode’.
She further added:
‘I’m really happy on the feedback my audience is giving me, they wait for my episode every week and I realize that I have won.’
