Haseena Moin to write a special web-series on Breast Cancer Awareness for the RINSTRA platform, and we can’t wait to watch her words play out on the screen once again! Being herself, a breast cancer survivor, means her writing will carry insightfulness, sensitivity, and we hope, the signature Haseena Moin heroine who will leave viewers floored, as usual.

“Agar aap hosla rakhengi…Himmat rakhengi
Tau koi cheez aapko shikast nahi de sakti
Aap shikast de sakti hain…”

Haseena Moin – The writer who never gets it wrong!

There can be no one better to write a script on empowered women, on the determination, courage and hope that comes with battling cancer, other than a survivor herself, and then that too, Haseena Moin herself, is a sonay pe suhaga.

Do you know why?

Because Haseena Moin’s heroines are a force to be reckoned with always. Whether it was Zoya in Tanhaiyan or Sana Murad in Ankahi, these young girls had spunk & spirit koot koot ke bhari huwee, yes, as in, in heavy truckloads, and they also had an infectious energy that got us all rooting for their jazbaati, over the top histrionics – and loving every moment they appeared onscreen!

Can she upstage Marina Khan and Shenaz Sheikh?

If you watched a Haseena Moin heroine, you wanted to BE her, you wanted to utter those dialogues, be that headstrong young girl who stayed innocent, learnt rationality, (only to forget it in an instance), and earn our love and respect in a matter of a few episodes! In short, Haseena Moin’s heroines were pure LOVE!

To see these characters played out onscreen once again, will be a mega treat. How will Haseena jee mould her into today’s Millenial woman, is anybody’s guess. More so, who will play the role this time. Can she upstage Marina Khan and Shenaz Sheikh? And who will be her prince charming, can Ahad upstage his dad, Asif Raza Mir?

Haseena Moin is Pakistan’s most celebrated dramatist, playwright and scriptwriter!

She has written several plays for stage, radio and television, some of which have even gained international repute. Moreover, she is the recipient of the Pride of Performance award for her services to the performing arts in Pakistan.

Haseena Moin wrote Pakistan’s first original script ‘Kiran Kahani‘ aired in the early-1970s. Before this PTV relied on novel-based scripts for dramas.

She has won numerous awards, including the Pride of Performance Award in 1987 for her services to the performing arts in Pakistan it is one of the highest civil awards conferred by the Pakistan Government.

She has won the Woman of the year award. In 1975 she also won an award at the Global TV Plays Festival in Tokyo for best script and direction for her play Gurya.

She is Pakistan’s most respected and celebrated creative artist to join the RINSTRA Technologies Board of Advisors. She will also be writing two-web series exclusively for the RINSTRA Platform.

We look forward to a special web series on Breast Cancer Awareness penned by Haseena Moin!

She will write a special web-series on Breast Cancer awareness as well. A cancer survivor herself, her message on the Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to Beat Cancer.

Haseena Moin aims to improve the standard of creative and drama writing in the country. In an industry where we struggle with sharp script writing and impactful dialogues, perhaps Haseena jee can help us channel raw talent to uncover Gold! After all, if not her, then who can do it? Our industry needs a mentor and we have a stellar one in her!

She expresses her concerns with the current trends in television productions and emphasized that “there is a need to create more diversity in the thematic topics for dramas in the Pakistan.

“Our young minds need to learn creative writing techniques for the new mediums of storytelling. Empowering and educating our youth through storytelling is a very powerful and important objective for our nation building. We must tell the Pakistani narrative to the world in the new forms and techniques”.

“We are delighted to have Haseena Moin on our board of advisors for RINSTRA. Her experience and thought leadership will be a source of inspiration and will benefit both RINSTRA and our youth for creating content that can put Pakistan on the international drama and production circuit.”

Dr. Adil Akhtar, Co-founder and Chairman of RINSTRA

We are happy to share that, “In addition to advising, Haseena Moin will also be mentoring and guiding the young script writers, dramatists, content creators and digital storytellers on the technique and methodologies of good storytelling as well”, said Dr. Adil Akhtar.

How to check for Breast Cancer at home?

Mammogram is to diagnose breast concerns before cancer or at the earliest cancer stage possible. Screening helps prevent late diagnosis, avoid intensive treatments and give women a chance at a healthier life.

When to get your first mammogram?

From 35-40 years.

The technician will take an x-ray, to get a better look at the tissues so it it is easier for them to identify. Before your mammogram, do not wear any lotion or powder as they will make your x-ray hard to read!

Help Beat Cancer, as Haseena Moin says – we are waiting to see what the web series brings us. More power to her and all the women who have fought hard to battle Breast Cancer!
