Neeli Zinda Hai, Amaanat, and more … Yes, they’re all coming to our TV screens Buhat Jald!

Pakistani dramas
Mohib Mirza and Sana Javed star in the Thriller Drama Neeli Zinda Hai

2021 You Haven’t Even Begun And …

We’re already rooting for Dunk, Pehli Si Mohabbat, and Raqs e Bismil.

But that’s not all as FIVE more upcoming dramas are on our radar this coming year. So let’s begin with numero uno!

1. Neeli Zinda Hai

For entertainment, 2020 has indeed been very kind to us and Dushman e Jaan is one of the noteworthy dramas we loved and enjoyed wholeheartedly. DeJ, apart from entertaining us with its fine storytelling, also uncovered acting talent that is making his mark – yes, it’s no other than Mohib Mirza we mention. Mohib has developed a riding fan following and a certain likeability that’s spreading rapidly enough for us to look forward to Neeli Zinda Hai! Check out his tweet on the upcoming drama. Any guesses on who he’s sharing screen time with?

Neeli Zinda Hai will star the super talented Sana Javed opposite Mohib Mirza – enough excitement there, right? This upcoming horror thriller includes Sonia Mishal and Jenaan Hussain in exciting roles. Neeli is directed by Tich Button and Prem Gali’s director Qasim Ali Mureed. Writer Adeel Razzaq has penned the story.

The drama is being produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib under the banner of their production house Six Sigma Plus and directed by the Prem Gali director Qasim Ali Mureed for ARY Digital.

2. Affair

If the title wasn’t provocative enough, the cast of the project is exciting too. Hiba Bukhari who won hearts in Deewangi this year is paired up with Faysal Qureshi. The project is being directed by Raaz e Ulfat director Siraj ul Haq and written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah who gave us the superhit drama Pyar Ke Sadqay.

We’re hoping the drama (as the title suggests) does not slip into Jalan or Nand mode – waste of talent that would be indeed. Hopefully the combination of Zanjabeel and Siraj ul Haq as well as Faysal Qureshi will prevent that from happening!

The cast of the upcoming Geo TV project includes Kamran Jilani, Kiran Haq, and Mizna Waqas.

According to sources, Affair will also play Wahaj Ali playing a very important role. It is being produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment Productions.

3. Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3

One of the very few typical love stories Pakistani Television has produced is Khuda Aur Mohabbat. Created twice earlier already, this time it is coming up with its third remake. This upcoming project is directed by one of the finest TV directors of current times Syed Wajahat Hussain, whose Do Bol, Yaariyan and, Silsilay already have our hearts.

KAM3 cast has much to boast: featuring Feroze Khan, Iqra Aziz, Javed Sheikh, Rubina Ashraf, Sunita Marshall, Junaid Khan, Tooba Siddiqui, Sohail Sameer, and Hina Khawaja Bayat. A Love Story with a hint of spirituality – that’s what the makers promise us with KAM3!

The drama is directed by Shahid Shafaat (Shaddi) who has given us Bikhray Moti this year. Amaanat is in production with Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed under the banner of Next Level Entertainment productions.

The cast also includes, Gohar Rasheed, Saboor Aly, Babar Ali, Haroon Shahid, and Asad Siddiqui in significant roles.

5. Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahin:

After giving us the mind blowing Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and the meaningful Inkaar, Director Kashif Nisar is all set to entertain us with his upcoming drama Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahin.

The project is a collaboration of Kashf Foundation with Momina Duraid Productions and will be delivering a social message by raising awareness through a well-written story from Amna Mufti, the writer behind Ullu Baraaye Farokht Nahin.

The upcoming drama will feature Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali in promisingly roles and veterans like Noman Ijaz, Yasra Rizvi, and Samia Mumtaz are also going to share the screen.

Correction: The drama Dil Na Umeed Tau Nahi will now be screened on TV One
