Ameera keeps us intrigued, making us wonder whose side is she on? And what is Maqsood Sahib planning to do other than admonishing Rafeeq? Has Maqsood used Ameera as an excuse to go back to his village?
This week, Raqeeb se kept us hooked to our screens as it walked us through the village safar, Ameera’s cheekiness and the interaction with Maqsood Sahib and Rafiq Ali was gold esp. when she startles her Abbay from his dream world by crashing the tray – much fun that!
What you may have missed
Didn’t you just love the village scenes, so raw and so rustic, we were in scenic heaven. Plus the duo of Maqsood Sahab and Ameerah make quite a pair – one is overly baatooni and the other, overly reticent – which is probably what made it a prize watch!
Aur toh aur, Hajra is keeping us guessing. Her (more than) whole-hearted acceptance of Sakina, comforting her and inviting her to stay on just made us even more curious to find out; what’s behind this sugary sweetness? Suspense in every word – Hajra comes as layered a human as there ever was. We’re expecting a melt-down of gigantic proportions towards the end of the road, and Hajra might be the instigator – still waters run deep, what say you?

Also, Insha’s attitude towards Sakina is ice-cold, and understandably so. The sharp contrast between mother and daughter is almost theatrical, as everything about Raqeeb Se is – where will the next episode take us, anybody’s guess!
Irrational decisions?
Okay but this episode made us think why Insha and Abdul are planning a home together? Is it because Insha wants to get away from her own home? Or is there another reason?
