Pehli Si Mohabbat combines old-style parosi romance with today’s cellular world, with Aslam, the naya aashiq, & Rakshi, the alhar haseena.

It’s just the beginning of a adventurous and intense love story and we’re just loving it! A normal pace, setting the plot right, what else could we have asked for.

Nai Mohabbat Ki Shuruwaat

Thori si filmy shuruwat. The romance swings between cuteness & cheesiness from time to time.

Aslam and Rakshi are taking over our hearts. Their chemistry is just something else.

Aslam rushing out of bed to see Rakshi or following the college van? Which one is THE cutest scene? We can’t decide!

Also the flashbacks of chotta Aslam and Rakshi are too sweet. Aslam getting her in trouble apologizing was so cute. Their nok jhok enlightened our screens.

But wait a minute. Isn’t Aslam engaged to Bushra? Is it okay for him to fall for another girl? Oh what wrath awaits for the the two?

On a serious note

We appreciate Faiza Ifthikhar raising the issue of marrying a woman from a questionable background & Faiz Ullah taking a stand for her. This made us think that, will people ever stop judging? Can our society be more accepting, no matter what an individual’s past or background may be? Jeenay aur jeenay do. Nahi?

Akram is really an intimidating character and preaches religion with a fervour, so isn’t Faiz ullah right when he says ‘talaq Allah ke nazdeek kitna na pasandeeda amal hai’? Shouldn’t Akram realize this too? Or is he using his beliefs to forward his own agenda .. and dare we say, narrow mindedness?

What do you think?

Ok, so what do you think about Rakshi’s stepmother, Nargis. Honestly, seems like a genuine person. No drama. She’s open and is even trying to get along with Rakshi.

Plus, wasn’t it selfless of her to give her jewelry to Faiz Ullah, to sell them off and pay for the house? She could play a significant role further on in the story. What do you think?

Looking forward

The story is simple but Faiza Iftikhar, the master mind behind it will spring us a surprise, that’s for sure.

Till the next episode, watch our Drama Gup on Pehli Si Mohabbat now. Enjoy!
