Two episodes in, and Phaans is on the path to unfold a phenomenal story, Zara Noor Abbas is all set to tell a convincing tale as Zeba, but, how events unfold is anybody’s guess!

Phaans delivered a power-packed, engaging episode, overshadowed by only one thing – the fact that no one asked Samad why his torn pocket was in Zeba’s hand?
Have they already assumed Samad is the guilty party, and fear to know the truth, so they’d rather not ask him? By not interrogating him, is his mother trying to protect him?
3 suspects whose names start with S – but which S is it, the suspense continues till Zeba awakens.
Zara Noor gave a convincing performance as she walked in to the driveway, except that we desperately wish her makeup had been maintained in continuity from the under construction house till the hospital. How the character appears can make you feel sympathy (or nothing at all for him/her).

Kinza Malik as Shakila was believably touching. Her portrayal of a helpless, terrified mother, stunned by the truth she would rather deny, really had us.

Some questions after watching Phaans
Why was Samad running after Hashim?
What does Hashim know & why is he visibly shaken?
What did Sahil see or hear?

The episode leaves us with so many burning questions – we’re completely hooked & engaged.
We do however, deeply regret the completely unnecessary toxic attitude of Zeba’s younger sister as part of an otherwise strong narrative.
