Rakshi gave in to her father when Aslam was blamed, but is she now feeling something for Nargis? Should she, in fact stand up to defend her? The worst that she feared has already happened, so she might as well show support and loyalty to the one person in her life who stood by her, who took on Niggi apa single handedly, and who tried to mentor her into shaping her future but with wisdom. yes, that is all that Nargis attempted to do for Rakshi and we think Rakshi will rise in support of her – Faiza Iftikhar will not fail us here!
Will this outburst from Faizullah make Nargis return to her past?
That, is a million dollar question. Faizullah certainly made it easier for Nargis to miss Farooq. His sharp words fell on painful ears and also revealed the hypocrisy of the male mind, his ego and his sense of (false) self importance. Nargis, principled as she is, might not leave him but the urge to stay on will have weakened. Faizullah has crossed a fine line in the relationship. We wished he hadn’t but what’s said has been said – will he be able to redeem himself in her eyes ever? Will they ever be able to go back to the relationship they had? We wish that for Nargis, knowing full well however, that he doesn’t deserve to be forgiven!
Sikander is not that masoom as we believed him to be
Sikander is a zakhmi aashiq blinded by revenge & his ego. Kiya yeh Sikander ka ghum hai ya Murad ka shuk jo Zainab kay liyay jaan lewa bun gaya hai? Sikander’s fury at Akram knows no end and exacting it on Aslam made us lose any sympathy we had for him. Understood he was wronged in an earlier life, but somehow, we cannot justify the pain he is inflicting on innocent people – 2 wrongs don’t make a right, and understandably, Sikander will pay for this too.
Last but not the least, we witnessed the magic unfold when you have a powerful, talented & experienced cast… it was pure joy to watch stellar performances from Maya Ali, Sheheryar Munawar, Rabia Butt, HSY, Shabbir Jan, Nausheen Shah, Uzma Hassan, Saleem Meraj & Saba Faisal.
Pehli Si Mohabbat is doing justice to its name and keeping us engaged in a drama season that is super block buster and … with a love story that has us riveted!
