It goes without saying that although India is in the throes of an unbelievably painful pandemic, cinema does for the Indian junta what oxygen does for the lungs – it makes them breathe!
Well, we’re not here to pronounce an early verdict on the film, but just handing you the twitter frenzy that preceded the premier (hours ago) and the initial response (scroll down to the pehla din, pehla show review).

Aaand, we have a full blown review for you folks! Kinda lukewarm that! But don’t go on first impressions, wait till the public gets to watch, and make or break your opinion!
The danger is also that very often, due to lack of competition, average content gains super popularity and turns into a mega hit!
We’re not sure if that’s all bad though. If it appeases the masses and gives them a reason to take a breather from the depressing circumstances in covid times – no harm done – the long run will sort out the rest!
