The organizers of the 2nd annual Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA ’21) to take place at the stunning Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, on November 5, 2021 have revealed the names of the four main performers: Sheheryar Munawar, Mehwish Hayat, Umair Jaswal and Sajjad Ali.
The Power Duo To Burn The Stage With Their Moves!
Two scintillating performances that audiences can look forward at PISA are those of superstars Mehwish Hayat and Sheheryar Munawar who will be performing together to the bhangra number ‘Munday Lahore De’ from the film ‘Load Wedding’ which starred Mehwish and Fahad Mustafa’; as well as the festive ‘Haaye Dil’ from the Asim Raza film ‘Parey Hut Love’ starring Sheheryar, Maya Ali and a star cast.
Powerhouse Of Music Together!
Legendary veteran singer Sajjad Ali and energetic crooner Umair Jaswal, two of the most popular stars in the Pakistani music industry will be performing their popular song and entertain the audience with their melodious voices. Both singers are well-known for their distinctive vocals that have helped to capture a special place in their fans’ hearts, will be seen at PISA!
Sajjad Ali is a semi-classical, pop and rock singer, poet, actor, film director as well as a film producer. Despite being one of Pakistan’s most successful musicians, of late he had been keeping a low profile. The audience can now however brace themselves to be stunned by a major comeback from him; as he prepares to mesmerize his fans with his phenomenal voice and catchy, timeless songs. We are sure all his fans are excited to see him at PISA this year.
PISA recognizes Umair Jaswal as Youth Icon of 2020 due to his inspirational travel series, ‘Raahi’ in which showcased the rich culture and heritage of the county while exploring Pakistan on his motorbike. With already 6.8M million + views on YouTube, the audience is looking forward for the rock star to capture the limelight with his ‘alive and kicking’ performance of the classic Alamgir song ‘Gagar’ among others. Umair’s rendition of ‘Gagar’, from Velo Sound Station was a super-hit because of its catchy melody and lyrics dovetailed with Umair’s extraordinary energy.
All PISA 2021 nominees and performers will be hosted at the recently-built designer hotel, Sheraton Mall of Emirates, a 5-star enclave with uber- chic and comfortable accommodations.
