1. Adeel Has Worked In Quetta’s FM Radio!

18-19 saal meri umar thi aur mai ne ja kr FM radio walon ko bola k mujhe Afzal sahab ne bheja hai k yahan jagah khali hai. Toh unhon ne meri shakal dekhi aur kaha k aap jain aur apna number de jain. Aur sath unhon ne kaha dekein beita Radio achay logon ki jagah hai aur agar aap achay hoon gae toh aap khud replace kr lein gay kisi ko.

Adeel states that he went to one of his close friend’s brother’s office who is a writer, and there he met a famous musician from Quetta. Upon discovering that Adeel has an interest in music, the musician suggested he should join FM radio. Adeel took his advice and joined FM radio. Moreover, he claims that after gaining enough experience in radio, he got a confidence boost to join media and pursue it as a career.
2. Adeel Was A Sub-editor At Jang Newspaper

Unhon ne mujhe kaha k yaar yeh akhbar (newspaper) ki jo zindagi hai na, tum is hi daftar (office) mein guzar k zaya kr dou gaye. Tumhara mizaj kuch aur hai toh tum pursue karo electronic media ki taraf.

Adeel says he joined Jang newspaper after his bachelor’s degree and worked as a sub-editor there. for at least two years. He revealed that he also wrote a short story in Urdu (asfana), which was also printed in Jang. He shares that he was surrounded by diverse literary people in the office, who gave him bits of advice about life in general. Lastly, he states that it was them who motivated him to go to NCA and pursue a degree in filmmaking.
3. Adeel Had The Opportunity To Work With Sarmad Khoosat!

Mai ne khud Sarmad ko kaha k agar mai kuch likh kr doon toh aap interested hon gay banane mein? Toh Sarmad ne kaha haan zaror. Us k 1-2 draft likh liye thay but phir meri susti k woh ajj tak nahi complete hoi.

Adeel says he met Sarmad at NCA as he used to join in as part of a jury. He further elaborates that in his final thesis, he presented his work to Sarmad Khoosat, but when they both started teaching, that’s when they got to know each other more. Later he worked with Mr. Khoosat in his project Mor Mahal’s post-production. He also confessed that he is supposed to write a script for a project with Sarmad but hasn’t completed it yet.
4. Adeel Used To Be A Part Of The Mangobaaz Team!

Meri domain nahi thi, mere se bilkul hat kr thi k ek slapsticks comedy aap kr rahe hain. Mai wese funny hoon as in doston mein insaan beitta hai toh latifay bhi sunata hai.

Adeel told us that the Mangobaaz team was in search of a writer who could write content for them. After a gap of 7-8 months, he returned to Lahore in 2016 and called one of his classmates, who told him that he has just joined Mangobaaz. Then the Mangobaaz team and Adeel met & they also called Sarmad Khoosat to cross-check his reference. Further, he states that he worked for them for 2-3 years and met diverse people. Lastly, he worked with Rehman from Mangobaaz with whom he created Bayaan Bazoo.
5. Adeel Talks About His Character In Parizaad!

Director Shehzad Kashmiri ne mujhe yehi kaha k yaar Zahid ne mujhe dekhai thi tumhari video toh mai ne 1-2 minute tumari video dekhi aur mai ne kaha haan.

During the Covid19 period, a guy from Hum TV named Zahid and introduced Adeel to the role of Nasaaz but disappeared for 6 months, keeping Adeel on hold. However, Zahid called him again to offer him the role and Adeel accepted it. Further, he also explains that he didn’t really audition for the role and was accepted based on his videos of Bayaan Bazoo. However, he says that he doesn’t really like acting and feels like he is better behind the camera.
