It’s rare to find positivity on social media these days, especially on our Instagram feeds. Yes, Instagram is a great place to create, inspire, get inspired, start a business and so much more but it is also an app that sometimes promotes toxicity, superficiality, and unrealistic beauty standards. At the same time, it’s addictive. We often get addicted to this toxicity, which often takes a toll on our mental health. However, when we come across posts from these 4 Instagram influencers, they add value to our feeds and we pick up something uplifting each time!
Scroll down to know why we love their content & who they are!

1. Saba Bano Malik

We started following Sabah Bano Malik on Instagram during those dreary lockdown days when we had nothing better to do than scroll through our feeds and binge ‘Love Is Blind’ on Netflix (such a wild time!).
What drew us to her content was that she was different from the run-of-the-mill Instagram “influencers” – she was unapologetically herself and funny to boot! It was really cool seeing someone who looked like us (read: not airbrushed to perfection). Someone who had great taste in music and felt like a real person. Even someone we could be friends with IRL!
Sabah Bano Malik’s stories and posts are still inspiring post-covid and with her online presence and representation in multiple campaigns, she has helped us embrace ourselves & become more confident in our own skin. Because femininity and being a woman isn’t cookie-cutter, we’re all different and it’s about time we understood that!
Below is one of the major reasons why her sense of humor makes our day!

2. Ammarah Imran

Girls like her really know how to make fun content that resonates with young audiences. Her Instagram stories & videos crack us up (especially those punch lines). Sometimes all we need is a break to truly be ourselves and laugh our hearts out. Ammarah’s content surely does that for us. She also knows how to grab the audience’s attention & put her point across in fun and engaging ways, without making it sound boring!

3. Shehzeen Rehman

Her feed is like a breath of fresh air. It is like taking a break from your day, Shehzeen hands out creative, minimalistic yet cozy design ideas, soothing life choices, and thought-provoking content with a genuine and unpretentious take on life.
Her stories add value to the ideas she creates on her feed. Her attention to detail is inspiring and you are caught between admiring her professionalism as well as falling in love with her calm, sedate yet energetic feed.
She also invests time and effort in promoting causes in a very organic, noncommercial manner which sets the bar high for other Pakistani ex-pat bloggers who might be looking for inspiration.
You are a star Shehzeen! Keep on moving. The world is watching!

4. Bae kartoot

A 20 something just trying to make the most out of life and inspire the youth. From being emotionally expressive online to talking about her struggles with mental health (something which many of us can relate to) and finally to being completely unapologetic, we absolutely love how real she is. Zainab makes us realize that contentment and happiness are the key elements for practicing self-love. A little can go a long way, followed by a support system that gets you through the highs and lows.
Other than that, she has moved to Brighton this year and through her content, she shows us what life is like when you’re studying abroad, the challenges and the good parts. This is a great help for students in Brighton and those who plan to go there and other countries to continue their studies. The best thing is that she’s relatable. We can resonate with her, whether it’s on the smallest topic, a life story, or an incident. That’s what makes a good content creator, right?
