We are back with our weekly edition of ‘Actors Who Impressed Us.’ This time around, we have 9 actors who graced our screens with their noteworthy performances.

1. Sajal Aly As Rabia in Sinf-e-Aahan

When Rabia discovers the truth from Mahjabeen, Sajal Aly made us feel the hurt, shock, disbelief & sadness of this fact hitting Rabia in such a heart wrenching way that it we totally felt for her.
2. Kubra Khan as Mahjabeen in Sinf-e-Aahan

The slyness, the mean girl stare & blatantly revengeful attitude of Mahjabeen’s while relating the shocking truth to Rabia – Kubra was spot on and depicted all these emotions in a single frame.
3. Hania Aamir as Gul Meena in Sang-E-Mah

Gul Meena’s disappointment at her mother, and shock at Mastaan Singh’s actions were aptly portrayed by Hania, so much so, that we totally experienced her emotions at every point in the episode.
4. Atif Aslam as Hilmand in Sang-E-Mah

Hilmand had us in a trance as he took along everyone on his musical journey. He had us sympathizing with him when lamented to Allah (and Shahjee) over his ‘cursed’ Fate. Hilmand had us praying for his life when he was stabbed unaware in the dead of night! Atif Aslam you won our hearts at every twist in the plot. Thank you for giving us a character we have grown to love hopelessly!
5. Feroze Khan as Mustajab in Aye Musht-e-Khaak

What a heartwarming & heart winning performance from Feroze. Appreciation for the transition that he depicted in Mustajab’s character. Now we can actually witness a transformed Mustajab. His genuineness in all his relations & actions is evident and so endearing.
6. Farhan Saeed as Hamza in Mere Humsafar

Wah wah Farhan jee aap to bus dil jeetay ja rehay haan. Pehlay with your heroic actions & now with Hamza’s sense of humour.
7. Yasir Hussain as Qaiser in Badshah Begum

Yasir Hussain is nailing the character with a performance that induces terror and also mirrors the reclusiveness of his character the moment Qaiser appears on screen
8. Saba Hameed as Shahjahan in Mere Humsafar

We despise her. Her evilness and toxicity knows no boundaries. She can go to any extent in her hatred for Hala. Saba Hameed is making sure we don’t hold an ounce of sympathy for Shahjahan. She is doing a super job at portraying Shahjahan’s inner negativity.
9. Samina Ahmed as Dadi in Mere Humsafar

A note of appreciation for Samina Ahmed for performing Dadi as someone who is toxic towards her bahu, yet so gentle and reham dil towards Hala, her grand daughter. She has turned out such a fabulous performance that we feel both fondness and disappointment for her at the same time.
So, did your favorite make it? Whose performance impressed you the most? Let us know!
