What a great portrayal of Maahir’s internal struggle, the emotional turmoil he’s undergoing and, in the process, making us a part of his story.
2. Daniya Enver as Bano in Habs
Lovely performance that is really making us feel for Bano. Love how Daniya has managed to show the frustration, the desperation of Bano with a sensitivity that doesn’t make her look unreasonable.
3. Shahood Alvi in Kaise Teree Khudgarzi
A huge round of applause for Shahood Sahib. His portrayal of a totally helpless father caught in a frustrating situation is just heart wrenching. It makes you realise his dilemma but also feel for him.
4. Hiba Bikhari as Khajasta in Mere Hum Nasheen
Hiba has made Khajasta’s character so likeable. She is brave yet carries a soft, innocent side which makes her so relatable and not superficially strong.
5. Momina Iqbal as Shanzae in Meray Hum Nasheen
Zabardast performance! Momina is making us like and dislike Shanzae at the same time. We feel for the unfair behaviour her husband shows towards her but then we get irked at her for blaming Khajasta.
6. Haris Waheed as Hasan in Meray Hum Nasheen
We love his portrayal of Hasan, which, interestingly enough, doesn’t makes us dislike him but rather, be interested in what’s going on his mind, and anticipate what he’ll be up to next? It is the fine subtleties in his character which make it so engaging.
