Mishal Bukhari Passes Away At The Age Of 38

Famous talk show host at Aap TV (news channel) and Anchor Mishal Bukhari lost her battle with cancer at the age of 38. She was fighting her battle with this terminal disease for two years. She died on Tuesday 3rd January 2023, her funeral prayer will be held today at 1 PM at Jamia Al Muntazir, Lahore.

Mishal Bukhari’s husband who is also a renowned Anchorperson Ameer Abbas announced her passing on Twitter

It will pass even without you Great sadness will pass My wife, journalist Mishal Bukhari, a beautiful heart, an incomparable personality and an incredibly patient, unbelievably brave woman, left an unbearable shock after fighting cancer for two years. Funeral tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at Jamia Al-Muntazar Lahore

Mishal Bukhari’s Career And Education

Mishal started her career as a radio presenter at FM 101 where she was selected as one of the best six presenters. She joined Express-News as an anchor in 2007, where she covered major breaking news from FIA building bomb blast to the Bhakkar blast, the Long march of the supreme court Chief Justice and others. Prior to Express News she worked as a sub-editor magazine and as reporter for Daily Express for three years she was also in charge of women, arts and culture and agriculture editions of the magazine.

Mishal Bukhari completed her master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University Of Punjab. She did a thesis on “The Role Of PTV Dramas In Highlighting Women’s Issues”. The data collected from her research is still available for students in the library.
