As Pakistani Artists shine on the international arena we can’t help but want more in coming years!

This is the second consecutive year that Coachella will host yet another Pakistani artist to perform at the festival. After Arooj Aftab in 2022, Ali Sethi made it to the list. He will be performing this year from the 16th to the 23rd of April at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and after the super success of Pasoori on Spotify charts, Pakistanis are just so proud to have the moment once again!
The three-day festival is held in California in the month of April. Coachella displays well known and established music artists as well as new and emerging musicians and reunited groups. Moreover, it is considered to be one of the biggest, most popular and most profitable music festivals in the United States and the world.
Pakistani artists are gradually stepping into the international music industry. Our artists and music bands have entertained international music lovers in the past as well and they are still making music to vibe to in 2023. However, other than Ali Sethi & Arooj Aftab, Pakistan has budding talent whom we’d love to see on the grand global Coachella stage in the Californian fest.
1. Atif Aslam
Entering the music industry with his blockbuster song Aadat, Atif Aslam simply conquered the music industry. This singing sensation with magically unique vocals took over Pakistani pop and Bollywood by storm. Not only a singer and composer but now also an actor, Atif Aslam will shine on any stage!
2. Ali Zafar
Our very own and very multitalented Ali Zafar has many feathers in his hat. Thus, he is a singer, an actor, a songwriter, a composer and a painter. From movie to drama soundtracks, from Lollywood to Bollywood and from love ballads to qawwalis, Ali Zafar’s contributions have won hearts often enough.
3. Hadiqa Kiani
The Queen of Pop, Hadiqa Kiani needs no introduction. She is the first woman from Pakistan to be appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for United National Development Program. Her powerful vocals are testament to her training in classical and folk singing, She’s performed in Urdu, Punjabi, Kashmiri and Pushto. Thus, her melodious voice simply adds soul to every song she sings – Hadiqa is a winner all the way!
4. Asim Azhar
Known as the Justin Bieber of Pakistan, Asim Azhar is the heartthrob of the current generation. Asim has delivered multiple hits from drama soundtracks to commercial jingles and from rap to pop, this young achiever definitely has a long career in music and the sky is the limit for him – we know!
5. Zeb Bangash
The ultimate vocalist Zeb Bangash is a songwriter and music director as well. She has sung in multiple languages; Urdu, Pushto, Punjabi, Turkish, Saraiki, etc. She has recently sung for the internationally acclaimed Pakistani film Kamli. Therefore, we can say that Zeb is the voice behind many soulful renditions in Pakistan.
These musicians have performed all over the world and their fans are scattered globally. They have set the stage on fire every time they crooned to their audiences. Hence, we wish to see them light up the crowd at festivals where a cross section of music fans get to experience their magic and Coachella would of course, be a dream come true!
