Well the promo of the episode had us a bit concerned, that are we going to watch “Meray Pass Tum Ho” Halal version? But hats off to the entire team of Tere Bin, we actually got a heart winning episode with emotional as well as funny moments.

Hey Meerab, Would You Practice What You Preach?
Oh Meerab jee, yeh maafi wala dialogue aap apney opper bhi apply ker lein na. Maybe give mafi to everyone and accept Murtasim’s mohabbat.
With the rise of Murtasim, we see the return of the hero that we all used to love … that crazy, junooni, deep mohabbat we were all missing. But this brand of hero also romanticizes the ownership of a person, which, if not channeled properly, can become toxic and controlling. While we loved the sight of Murtasim storming into Anwar’s house and taking Meerab by the hand and standing up for her before his mother, but then subsequently, his words: “Meerab sirf meree hai” didn’t allow us to enjoy it completely. Do we really want to send out an overt ownership message to so many jazbati young lovers?
Emo Dialogues!
The dialogue between Meerab and Murtasim in the lawn was so emotional and deep. His shikwa and Meerab’s bayyaqeeni at his shikwa … what a poetic moment. Thank God Maryam used her senses and told Murtasim the truth. Oh our tender hearts, how does one resist when Murtasim acknowledges the injustice that has happened with Meerab while standing up to his mom for her, when he smiles at Meerab sleeping next to him and when he reaches out to touch her hair ever so gently, just so it doesn’t disturb her sleep.
Something Doesn’t Quite Add Up?
Meerab jee, we couldn’t understand one thing, you didn’t want to sleep on the same bed with Murtasim. But instead of using that yellow throw, you chose to share the duvet with Murtasim… ahem ahem… what is going on?
The reason Meerab lets him hold her hand at night, was perhaps because she was overwhelmed with emotions. He had just taken a stand for her against his mother, he had brought her back like a hero… how could she not be moved? But then the entire night passes by and the cool and distant Meerab makes a sudden comeback and attacks Murtasim for daring to touch her hair.
ROFL Moment!
The scene in the bed next morning was super hilarious and made us ROFL.
But please solve this mystery for us – Murtasim and Meerab derwaza lock ker key kiyon nahin sotay, or does Ma Begum have an extra key?
