1. Character Inspiration For Meerub
Meerub’s character is based on a person Nooran knows. Who did not grow up with her birth parents but was raised by another family. And then, find out what the writer has to say about the notorious contract!
2. Maa Begum’s Character is Not Negative
Maa Begum is very real for those who are familiar with the feudal family system. There is a very powerful matriarch, she wants good for the entire system, she will direct people how to behave and take decisions for the greater good. She does not have negative designs on Meerab, but just wants her son to be happy and the family, to continue its traditions into the next generation.
3. Love After Nikah Just Happens
Nooran is a die hard believer in the sanctity of Nikah and its power to soften hearts and make people fall in love. She believes Murtasim has given in to that power and that’s what guiding his love for Meerab from day one.
But then she also addresses the Nikah contract here!
4. Murtasim Wants To Win Meerub
“Wo use paana chahta hai.” Reveals Nooran. And that is why we see Murtasim from day one perhaps, pleading Meerub not to leave him! But then, he also gets angry at her, and this is how the writer justifies Murtasim’s rage!
