When nothing works – Keep Calm & Watch Turkish dramas!

Turkish Dramas are the new IN thing in Pakistan these days, and if you haven’t seen any, then you’re missing out. We all need a breather from our daily routine every now and then, and these dramas are the perfect way of getting lost in the stories of characters with nail-biting experiences.

So grab your munchies and start watching these three Turkish dramas ASAP!

1. Azize

azize, turkish drama

The story of Azize is one about love and revenge. Azize, who is out for revenge falls in love with Kartal Alphan who happens to be the son of the same mafia family who destroyed Azize’s life, by killing her parents and leaving her brother in a coma. Our question is, will love prevail or will revenge trump all other emotions? Will Azize snap out of it and focus on keeping her brother safe or will she surrender?

2. Sefirin Kizi

Sefirin Kizi, turkish drama

Sefirin Kizi is a story of impossible love, which tells the story of Sancar and Nare who have been in love since they were kids. Nare is the daughter of an ambassador whereas Sancar is a commoner which makes the lovestory between them impossible. Despite all the hardships, Sancar and Nare get married and on their wedding night Nare disappears. Many say she fell in the sea; some say she flew to Europe; others say she became a bird. Exactly nine years later Nare returns on Sancar’s wedding day to entrust her daughter to Sancar. We are excited to see how this love story will unfold with Sancar being married.

3. Dogdugun Ev kaderindir

Dogdugun Ev kaderindir , turkish drama

This drama is based on a true story about two wounded souls Zeynep and Mehdi who are from different worlds, dealing with their own share of hardships who are brought together by fate. Together they will heal and find comfort with each other. The show caters around the rich and poor theme so it will be a challenge for both Zeynep and Mehdi to fall in love. This will be an interesting journey and we can’t wait to find out what’s next in store for Mehdi and Zeynep.

We promised to bring you more Turkish dramas, and we have! These three Turkish dramas, we’re hooked on! So this Saturday morning when you don’t want to get out of your warm, cozy bed, you know what to do! Are there any dramas you would recommend us to watch?

Mariyam employs writing as a tool to channel negative energy into positivity. “Little did I know I’d start loving it so much!” Says Mariyam. Food and Fitness are my favorite topics and my favorite pastimes too.

I’ve learnt to surround myself with positive energy, that’s the only way to succeed in life. It helped me become an entrepreneur – a life- long dream.  And hopefully it will prove to be fruitful in the future too!
