Shan Kitchen Recommended and foodpanda saath hon tau khaana becomes a breeze! Yes, Covid has given us many lows but a few highs as well. One of them was the Home chefs project initiated by foodpanda to help support home-based cooks launch their own food catering business.

Home chefs could now augment their earnings thanks to the reliability of foodpanda delivery to keep their costs low and still reap the benefits of an increasing clientele.

And foodies like us could order ghar ka khaana wherever we are, with a click of the finger – literally! But wait a minute, that’s all done and dusted, what does Shan Kitchen Recommended have to do with this?

We have news for you

Shan x Foodpanda!

The latest news rolling out on the food front tells us that Shan Kitchen has collaborated with foodpanda to add quality, hygiene and flavour to our Home chef biryani, nihari, pulau and much more.

What’s happening?

A Shan Kitchen Recommended badge will be handed out to Home chefs after a series of quality checks. This badge is a move to add more credibility and authenticity to the food we order from Home chef kitchens.

Worried about hygiene and wholesome flavours in the food you order?

A foodpanda home chef will get the Shan Kitchen Recommended badge once their dishes are assessed for taste, quality and hygiene by a panel of judges. After multiple tastings and checks these Home chefs are awarded the badge which makes them stand out from the rest as a reliable standard, and makes it easy for you to make your choice when you order online!

And that’s not all!

Remember when that Bombay Biryani didn’t hit the right spot, or the qorma wasn’t flavourful enough? Well, Shan Kitchen Recommended home chefs are using premium quality Shan Recipe mixes and spices – flavours we have grown up with, so we recognize the authentic blend of spices right away – yes you can, transport yourself to food heaven now with a tap of the phone!

With Covid-19 still raging and restaurants trying hard to make ends meet, initiatives like foodpanda and Shan Kitchen Recommended are helping give back to the community and making it a little easier for small businesses to survive, and maybe even flourish.
