Wouldn’t we love to get that ‘Smart Blow-Dry’ at home, but we can never ace it. Visiting the salon is a tad risky in Covid times, so try these simple five steps for a salon style blow dry look (and spend that blow dry budget on … whatever takes your fancy!)
Step 1. Start Off By A Pre Dry
The basic step is the easiest. All you have to do is, when your hair’s damp, pull your hair to the front and give it a predry. At the same time, comb your fingers through your hair, to untangle the unwanted knots.

Make sure you pre dry all the sides properly!
Step 2: Comb and Part
For this one, comb your hair with your brush and part your hair in about 6 parts and secure each section with a clip.

Now, what I like doing is, taking the front part of my hair and securing it separately for a voluminous look!
Step 3: Time To Blow Dry
Start from the section at the back. Take a blow dryer brush and start from the roots and gradually work your way to the tops. Do this 2 to three times then, roll you hair backwards and as you blow dry keep rolling your hair in and out with the brush. Hold it for 10 to 20 seconds, take the brush out and continue this for the rest of the sections.

Tip: For more bounce, take a roller and pin it for 10 minutes and then, free your hair. Look at those loose curls!
Step 4: The Front Part
Remember the front part you sectioned separately? At last it’s time for that.
First off, part that section into two other parts.
Then, in an upward direction, blow dry your hair and roll it with the roller and let it stay for about five minutes and unroll. Do it for both the parts.

Step 5: Time To Style!
Now that your hair is finally ready, you can style it to the side, middle parting or anyway you like! I think everyone should take inspo from Kate Middleton and Aishwarya Rai Bachan. They always carry that flawless look!

Another tip: Before using heat onto your hair, I recommend using a heat protective spray. The TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray. This will help minimizing damage caused by heat and tame hair and reduce the frizziness. It’s easily available online and at any departmental store.
So now it’s time to upgrade your hairstyle for spring and give it the perfect finish!
