Though there are the classic Indian drama elements present in the show, there is much more to it. The show continues to highlight many social issues that are sowed into desi culture and emerge in our everyday lives. As the promos repeatedly highlight the main theme, bare logon ki choti soch, they give credence to the hidden messages under the element of drama and romance in the show.
As the story unveils with each episode, the audience is presented with a thought to reflect on. It touches upon a wide variety of topics; classism, sexism, domestic abuse both physically and emotionally, ragging in colleges and much more. We get to see the central character as a strong and fierce women who knows when to speak for herself.
The show has sparked a buzz and here is what people have to say about it on twitter:
No unnecessary drama says twitter!
The fandom love is real!

Karan Love is melting hearts!
And some more love!
First, the episode, then the audience reaction – it’s all one hilarious joy ride!
Hmm, the professor looks cute, can you agree more?
And lastly we love the bond that it creates between 2 countries and we appreciate the Indian audience for acknowledging our efforts!
We hope the entire team continues to impress us with their work and the element of excitement for the show carries on – after all tough (covid) times call for tougher shows and Shaurya is surely one of them!
