Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani – The week that was!
We are sorry for the belated review but hopefully the review will be good enough to amend for the delay. If this week’s episodes were a compensation for the previous week’s then we’re certainly not complaining. Firstly, our iron lady, Anokhi saved her P.S. She carried herself with dignity and despite wanting to see Shaurya she decided it was best to leave. We salute the portrayal of such a strong leading lady who knows when to back off unlike ahmmm … Shagun? Also, I must not forget to mention how grateful we are for proper execution of a kidnapping scene. It was logically pleasing to witness Anokhi first tying up the kidnapper before going on to save Shaurya.
Then, I was absolutely thrilled to see that Bubbly di finally took a stand and decided to leave her husband. Kudos to the makers for not dragging it and we hope that they can conclude it at a beautiful note leaving a lesson for the viewers.
And yesss…a site for sore eyes…finally saw Anokhi’s room once again. To be honest we miss all the scenes shot in SIAC (after all that is where our love birds met). Before coming to the intrinsic plot twist of the of this week’s episodes which I am sure you all are waiting for, let’s touch on the absurd and absolutely derisory part of this week’s episodes. Firstly, where do you find a mother-like figure who would just fake a heart attack to get her son engaged to a woman he doesn’t want in his life and which woman will marry a man who is clearly in love with someone?
I am glad that at least they did add in the part where Shagun elucidates while talking to herself that she needs to get engaged to Shaurya just because she has a lot at stake. Yet, we don’t know a reason for that and hopefully we will get one.

Coming to the moments that enraptured us and ensured that we had a smile glued to our faces. In case you missed it here is a spoiler…our love birds finally confessed their feelings for one another. Perfect direction, perfect acting, perfect dialogues and all in all, perfect execution. Maybe some other shows can take some cues from SAAKK. Everything was the definition of perfection and we are grateful to our makers for giving us those moments.
Also, apparently Shaurya and Anokhi are married now? Pardon for being oblivious to the Hindu culture but does wearing a sindoor tie you in a relationship? What other customs have to be completed before two people are married? I would love feedback from our Indian readers.

Undeniably all the moments were awe-worthy and this is what the Sakhi fandom was asking for. In addition, the simultaneous track shown where Anokhi shares her concerns with Shaurya about her career was applaudable writing.
The feeling of uncertainty and lack of trust even when you want to be with your loved one is probably one of the most heart rending feelings ever. When you have to choose between what your minds says and what your heart yearns for, you start to break from inside because you know that in the end it will be you who will lose. All these feelings were well described by Anokhi and hats off to Debattama Saha who delivered her role so eloquently.
Well, now let’s wait for what the upcoming week’s episodes will conclude to. Till then here are some tweets for you all to enjoy:
