Week Ending: 15th May 2021
This week was a continuation and stretch of last week’s plot of Shaurya Sabarwal’s kidnapping. The addition to the plot was the revelation that the person behind the kidnapping was none other than Anokhi’s brother-in-law, Vaneet. Also, we saw Bubbly di and Anokhi taking a stand against Vaneet and rising their voice against him. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed and even annoyed that Bubbly di once again let Vaneet off the hook and stopped him from being arrested.
I do understand that the writers are trying to represent that women like Bubbly are stifled by their emotions and are pulverized under the pressure of their families which often results in them taking into heed the opinions of others than what is really needed. This ultimately results in them oppressing their own voices.
I do hope that through her character the writers are able to set an example for a woman who is watching this show to take a stand for herself and fight the oppressor because at the end of the day it is your own willpower and effort that can bring you out of any misery.
And then when it comes to our gorgeous Anokhi heroine I am utterly speechless. She proved yet again how an empowered woman should use her own voice and know when to speak for herself. In addition, I was absolutely in love with the Anokhi who was missing her P.S. I mean, our lead couple is cute beyond words. They were able to bring back the cuteness and aww moments even when Shaurya wasn’t there. This made us miss our Shaurya Sabarwal even more.
But hopefully, we will be seeing our dashing hero back the next week when, (as can be seen through the promos) that our Anokhi will rescue her P.S. But I fear that those happy moments are not short-lived and over shadowed by the confusion Shagun wants to create between Shaurya and Anokhi. After all, all Shakhi fans deserve to see the love birds reunite back on the screen.
