KAM3 (Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3) has proved to be a fan favourite once again. With a stellar cast and gripping storyline, the last episode caused quite a stir on the interwebs. However, we bet even die-hard fans don’t know these 7 interesting facts about KAM3. Let us enlighten you:

1) Long Awaited Reunion

Asma Abbas and Waseem Abbas worked together on screen in KAM3 after 35 years. Their last project together was on PTV. This was met with excitement by their loyal fan base.

2) KAM3 Met With Challenging Art Direction

The art direction proved to be a challenge as no alterations were allowed in Gulzar Mahal. They weren’t allowed to hammer a single nail in the walls. This had to be manoeuvred with expertise and we can see the team managed brilliantly regardless of the obstacles in place.

Moreover, the bedrooms of Gulzar Mahal were shot at a different location. This was to ensure that creative modifications could take place without making alterations to the actual interior of Gulzar Mahal.

3) Bridal Burdens

Iqra Aziz had to get ready as a bride 4 times for the wedding sequence. The extremely heavy bridal dress made movement difficult for her. Moreover, she would often have to wait on the stairs while the scene was being shot. This would sometimes take more than an hour. Along with Iqra, everyone else in the cast of KAM3 had to be ready in time as well. Furthermore, the same coordination and continuity had to be ensured for each and every person in that scene, in terms of clothes, locations etc.

4) Keeping Up With Traditions in KAM3

It was decided that KAM3 would go traditional for the wedding outfit. The stunning red colour Jora was borrowed 4 times from the designer, SFK Bridals.

5) 1 Rukhsati, 3 Different Locations

The complete Rukhsati scene was shot in 4 sequences at 3 different locations. The Rukhsati was shot in Bahawalpur, the accident in Lahore, Nikah and the Dupatta tearing scene was shot in Karachi.

6) Impromptu Train Travel

When the actors were travelling to Bahawalpur, there was an issue with their flight, so they travelled by train. They reached at 7 am, by 10 am the shoot had to start.

7) KAM3’s Careful Curation

The director Wajahat Hussain, selected the clothes and jewellery for the main cast himself. Moreover, he took it to their individual rooms to ensure everything ran as per schedule after the flight got delayed.
