It is wonderful to see projects that make us feel proud of our heritage. The Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai Expo is doing just that – featured as one of the 5 Coolest Exhibits by one UAE publication, this one’s a ‘not to be missed’ moment in time! If you’re in Dubai, you’ve probably been, if you’re not, you might as well plan to go if at all, before it wraps up!

The Dubai Expo 2020 started from the 1st of October and will be active till the 31st of March 2022. It’s one of the biggest Expos ever since the pandemic! Hopes are high and visitors are in full swing and we say it’s definitely worth all the hype!
The Significance Of The Dubai Expo 2020

It aims to showcase different ideas, including architectural and technological innovations on a broader and international level. This year 192 countries are participating, each with a pavilion of their own, to attract tourism, investment and other economic potentials.
Does Pakistan Have Its Own Pavilion?
Yes, it does! The Pakistan Pavilion is a crowd favourite with its theme titled ‘The Hidden Treasure’. The Pavilion has eight main areas where Pakistan’s topography, handicrafts and local art are showcased, followed by a special stall for the desi food! It displays the history of our motherland in a fascinating, exciting and interactive way!

Designed by the artist Rashid Rana and architect Shahid Abdullah, Pakistan Pavilion aims to ‘represent the multifaceted sides of Pakistan, from seasons to culture.’ We love the idea and thought behind it, don’t you?
