The Sinf e Aahan girls are winning hearts as they drop multiple teasers on an audience that just can’t get enough! And Ramsha Khan is no different.

Meet Pariwesh Jamal – A small town girl from Balochistan, fighting against all odds and determined to make her nation proud.

Ramsha Khan portrays a Baluchi girl who will take on years of traditional ancestry and heritage to educate herself, and eventually, join the Pakistan armed forces. Sinf e Aahan promises to bring us stories of female resilience and courage in power packed teasers that are telling their own story – it doesn’t matter which culture, ethnic background, race or background you belong to, the army is your call to duty if you wish it to be so.

The teaser opens with Pariwesh, rifle perched firmly on shoulder, attempting to shoot. And Her mother calls out to her, to not delve in mardon wali cheezain. But Pariswesh replies promptly:

Aurat Uthai Gi Na Toh Aurat Wali Ban Jayegi

Pariwesh Jamal

Pariwesh’s family is steeped in age-old culture, neck deep in debt and struggling to survive. The teaser gives us all that and more in a minute of screen time.

Ramsha’s Balochi accent is endearing, she’s got a playful yet determined feel about her. Ammi, ab Captain banoongi mein, might be the voice of many young girls who look on from the safety of their homes in rural Pakistan and who might harbour bigger dreams than their elders and (ancestral village) had planned out for them.

The project makers have taken care to portray women of Sinf e Aahan who hail from diverse backgrounds, but with one common goal – a desire to serve their nation and a passion for service to a community!

So far, all the women featured in this Women of Steel series are stepping out of their comfort zone, defying stereotypes and challenging themselves to outdo themselves – the best message so far – Sinf e Aahan is about Iron women who will prove to their families that they are just as worthy of taking on the world, protecting their families and adopting authoritative roles in society and amidst armed force ranks as any other individual!

Ramsha posted on Instagram to announce the teaser

Witness her awe-inspiring story as she battles her way from Sinf-e-Nazuk to Sinf-e-Aahan!
