Written by Hashim Nadeem who has also penned ‘Ishq Zahe Naseeb’, ‘Raqs-e-Bismil’, and ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3‘ , and directed by the ace filmmaker Shahzad Kashmiri of ‘Humsafar’, and ‘Yaqeen Ka Safar’, ‘Parizaad’ is the story of a dark-skinned boy, ‘Parizaad’ (Ahmed Ali Akbar) who struggles with self-esteem issues and has time and again faced rejection in love due to his skin tone and financial constraints. It is a story about how ‘Parizaad’ navigates through life as he meets new people and faces obstacles that help him grow. Eventually, Parizaad becomes wealthy after his employer, Behroze names him his successor. The drama had a star-studded cast including Yumna Zaidi, Urwa Hocane, Ushna Shah, Saboor Ali, Nauman Ijaz, and others.
