Mohammad Rizwan has proven to be the trump card for Pakistan’s batting order after being shuffled up to the opening order nearly 2 years ago. He has not failed to prove his unrelenting consistency whipping out 50s in T20s like his life depends on it! He has also become the player with the highest-ever tally in a bilateral series.

ICC crowned Mohammad Rizwan the Player of the Month after he scored 7 fifties in the 10 games he played last month. Twitter came forward to applaud for the player on this occasion.

According to ICC he said “I would like to thank Almighty Allah and express my heartfelt delight to all that enabled me to achieve this award.

“I want to give my high appreciation to all my teammates as they made things easy for me. These achievements boost your confidence. I am happy with my performance and I would like to take this momentum forward in Australia.

“I would like to dedicate this award to the people in Pakistan who are affected by the floods and climate change. Hopefully this will bring smiles on their faces.”
