Can an overdose of romantic scenes, which also imply a connection between the lead cast, make us overlook major flaws in the script and story?

Tere Bin

It Is Beyond Our Understanding

It is beyond our understanding why Meerab was okay and is actually kind of relieved when Murtasim says “Tum Mere Ghar Chalo”. Murtasim’s house is actually Meerab’s father’s house, so it belongs to her. In fact, her adopted parents had left her there with her birth father. Please help us out here if we are missing the point.

We Have Been A Fan Of Meerab’s Strength

We have been a fan of Meerab’s strength and fearlessness but unfortunately, this week it crossed the limits and just entered the zone of badtameezi and rudeness which is absolutely not needed and not acceptable. Why are all strong-minded women in dramas portrayed as rude?
Her dialogues to Murtasim seem unreasonable especially that “Baghairat “one… unless there is history between them, or a past event that will be disclosed soon.

What Are We Watching?

A drama written in prehistoric times. How can two educated people who, as parents adored Meerab, can just cut off all connections from her like that? Please aapki story mein kuch sense bhi to bunna chahiye. If you wanted Meerab to feel abandoned and isolated, then please come up with a better plan.

What Is Haya’s Role?

Her presence has zero relevance and 100% toxicity, and, in some cases, she merely stands in silence, taking in the Meerab- Murtasim interaction as a spectator in red clothes, demeaning herself further.

Some Strange Execution With Beautiful & Poetic Moments

After this strange execution, you give us some beautiful, poetic and heart touching moments between Meerab and Murtasim at the mazar/mosque. From the exchange of looks between the two, to Meerab’s sadness and Muratasim’s pain at not being able to help Meerab, the entire scene was a heart winner. Oh, how we wish we had been brought to this point through some logical twists and better execution. We would have been in absolute love with the moment!

Meerab hates her biological father and doesn’t want to live with him. Her step father wants her to accept the reality that’s why he doesn’t open the door. Now she has only Murtasim left. She goes with him to His house (not her father’s) because he always helps her and listens to her.
She always takes out her anger on him (will do it in future too) that’s why she called him baghairat which was wrong and that thapparh wasn’t needed. I feel sad for Murtasim who was busy in his life but his family dragged him in all this.
    I skip Haya’s scenes.
