1. Yumna Zaidi As Meerab In Tere Bin
Wow, what a performance Yumna jee. Absolutely loved how you portrayed Meerab this week. When she asks Murtasim to sign on the agreement, when she meets her parents after the shaadi … we can see how Meerab is trying to be strong but at the same time, she is hurt inside.
2. Wahaj Ali As Murtasim & Saad
Two different characters and two completely different performances. Zabardast! Saad is winning our hearts without a doubt. Murtasim ka kabhi ghusa, kabhi narmi is also very endearing.
3. Mira Sethi As Samiya In Kuch Ankahi
Loved how Mira Sethi portrayed the emotions of a daughter who is okay to do anything for her mother without any bitterness. There is sadness but there is no toxicity. The way she used her eyes, tone and expressions to communicate these emotions is commendable.
4. Mohammed Ahmed In Kuch Ankahi
Zabardast performance by Mohammed Ahmed Sahib. The softness that we see when he is addressing Samiya, the irritation he shows when his sister arrives all of a sudden … he makes us smile and feel for the father in Kuch Ankahi.
5. Vaneeza Ahmed As Phuppo In Kuch Ankahi
A mention worthy performance that made us smile & instantly love Phuppo’s character and at the same time, communicate so many critical messages.
6. Sanam Jung As Mona In Pyari Mona
We appreciate how Sanam Jung is balancing different sides of Mona in her portrayal of the character. Mona is unapologetic about herself, but she is not aggressive. At the same time she fights for herself and doesn’t let people bully her just because they think she needs to change – A refreshing character to see onscreen.
7. Sunita Marshall As Wajiha In Pinjra
Wajiha’s sense of guilt and remorse, the pain of having failed a child was so palpable, we felt it across the screen. Well done Sunita Marshall, we felt your pain in last night’s episode.
