Hey Ramen Lovers, We Tried The New KFC’s Ramyeon Wings & This Is What We think!
KFC Ramyeon Wings

Starting tomorrow as Ramadan begins, a special month when we tend to be daydreaming about food more than usual, we don’t know about you but we are always looking for new foods to eat. When we tried KFC’s new launch, we decided it needs to be included in our Iftar specials.

A bunch of us at Fuchsia willingly like to torture ourselves with our love for the spiciest Korean Ramen noodles possible. Now when we heard that KFC has launched Ramyeon wings, we couldn’t help our imaginations from running wild and we HAD to try them. KFC describes Ramyeon Wings as “an innovation, a perfect blend of spicy and savory topped with crunchy noodles. It is known for its eclectic taste and creeping spice.”

So if you still haven’t tried the newly launched KFC Ramen wings, don’t worry. We tried it for you guys to give our brutally honest and crispy opinion.

Awaiting The Delivery

The delivery was super smooth as with all KFC orders, delivered by an efficient KFC rider who delivered our order safely and on time. Even before opening the bag of wings, there was a whiff of spicy, tangy ramen sauce. The iconic Korean spicy flavors that avid Ramen lovers could recognize in an instant. Packaged in an OG KFC wings bucket.

First Impressions

At first glance you see the world famous KFC wings with a sheeny dark red glaze and covered with a countable amount of fried ramen bits. The fried noodles were crispy. Most of us to be very honest, doubted the level of spice and without a second thought devoured the wings. Let me tell you, once the spice hit, IT HIT. Reminiscent of the spiciest ramen sauce that will leave you gasping for air.

What We Wanted More

The fried ramen bits were scanty and we wish we could have some more to experience the true element of crunch more. This is a double treat for ramen lovers and the lovers of fried chicken. Who knew you could get these two in one? Leave it to KFC to give us the most tantalizing flavor combinations. Though we would have preferred if the chicken piece were covered more equally.

The OG Crisp

Another great thing which is so crucial, the sauce could easily make the chicken soggy or not as crispy as it should be. But the chicken was absolutely crispy without a doubt. KFC doesn’t disappoint with the crisp. However, one could also say it wasn’t revolutionary and just another sauce addition to the wings.

What It’s Going To Cost You?

Now coming to what you all probably are most curious to know, the price point. We were in consensus about the price point being quite reasonable being 650 for 8 pieces of wings. Though if you add the hidden delivery fee of Rs.50, it adds up to 700 Rs. The quality and the freshness of KFC’s juicy chicken deserves it.

All in all, it’s an absolutely delicious combination we could not have expected! You are missing out if you don’t try them. You are missing out if you don’t try them this Ramadan. It will be a sure shot hit of spice dose for your Iftar.

Follow this space as we share more must haves and must not’s for your Sehri’s and Iftari’s this Ramadan.
