The Tere bin saga continues to throw us a roller coaster ride. While we were still in withdrawal from last week’s double episodes because of the chemistry, romance and sparks flying between Meerab and Murtasim, we were probably expecting more but … have been caught off guard by last night’s episode.
So lets dive straight in as to why we are so puzzled. It has been established that Murtasim wanted to be 6 feet away from wherever Haya would be, right? Murtasim who had been shown to not even stand the sight of Haya, knowing her intentions. So how does he conveniently agree to take her along ALONE to the village just because Maa Begum was worried? We can’t seem to wrap our head around it. Why and how did he just flip like that? Are men just so completely oblivious?
Secondly are we in the 21st century?
Just confirming, because funnily enough, according to Maa begum, any sign of sickness is a sure shot at being pregnant. Now presenting to you, Maa begum, a consultant gynecologist. Please tell us we are past this dark age theory! We now also seem to doubt Meerab’s said intelligence, she has been so vocal, headstrong and not hesitant to say no to anything. Why not tell Maa Begum it was the wretched Pani Puri. Thus, why did she not refute Maa Begum’s claims when she knows she really is not pregnant? Or is she? Seeing her so dumbfounded was strange.
Seems like Meerab was on a streak of bad decisions, she talks about values and morals so often and she also knows how dear Murtasim’s izzat is to him. Hence, how could she just ramble on about such private information to Rohail. Oh, how we wish her parents would have told her about the cuckoo claims Rohail has been making. We don’t really feel good about this.
