We all love Imran deeply and admire him hugely. We’re obviously all concerned for him now.
2. Great Life Inspiration
He has been one of the great inspirations of my life. As a young teenager, he was always there in my school days. He taught me how to play cricket. he also taught me that it’s absolutely normal to take the love of nature into adulthood. I think a lot of children leave it behind in childhood. That outward love of nature.
3. Marvelling At Nature
He would pause in his walk and say “Thank Allah for the gift of Nature or for the gift of bird song.” For Imran, nature is the primordial manifestation of God. This is sort of the realization I may have come to in the last year or two.
4. Radical Environmentalist
Imran was the most radical environmentalist world leader for several years with his 10 billion Trees Tsunami and Recharge Pakistan Initiative which is restoring hundreds of thousands of acres of Wetlands Nature, there were even plans to reintroduce the horned Rhinoceros to Pakistan, one of the first countries to reintroduce the Rhinoceros from captivity.
He’s an inspiration and we all love him deeply. I don’t know what’s going on there.
5. Faith In A Higher Plan
Imran has staunch Faith in a higher plan. Each of us has a purpose in this world to do good in our unique way and he trusts in that plan and believes that all will be well, one way or another. That’s what he said to me. All will be well, one way or another!
