Her makeup looks are always divinely simple and glow-y! The perfect lit from within look, but just how does she achieve it?

She walked her fans and beauty enthusiasts through her beauty routine in a video shared by Vogue magazine in an intimate and comfortable chat just a day ago which has already garnered views and unnecessary controversy over something besides the point of the video – something she shared about her personal life. Pre – Glam Skincare Routine
- Cleansing
First things, we noticed how she used a cleansing balm and not a foaming or gel wash. For cleansing, she used the D’You Good Grease Cleansing Balm which she says is her current obsession while revealing her sister Shaheen Bhatt is her number 1 skincare guru!
2. Quick Ice Water Facial
Next she says she often wakes up with a puffy face in the morning and icing is key for her to take away the puffiness along with its many other benefits making it lovely and tight. She literally went on to dunk her face in the ice filled water bowl for 5 seconds, came back and the dunked for a second time. Promising us looking the all pink and fresh look as the blood rushed to her face.
3. Moisturising & SPF
She then moved on to moisturizing using the D’You In My Defence Moisturizer which she claims she loves! She takes about 4-5 pumps of the product making sure to go all the way down her neck. (Ladies, remember the neck begins to show signs of aging first of all)
Moving on to the most important step we may or may not have missed in our teen years ( OOPS) she applied the sunscreen making sure to use enough.
4. Ending the Skin Care With Revelations
While she pointed out “the 3 months after giving after birth, your life is so dedicated to just nurturing your baby” she realized her ritual to herself of doing her skincare, haircare was literally the only time she could take out for herself. She ended her skincare using the Aquaphor lip repair ointment, while also admitting she is a compulsive lip balm user.
Her Make Up Routine For A Go-To Glam
- Not A Foundation Kinda Gal
Alia Bhatt isn’t a foundation kinda gal, she says she doesn’t use foundation even if she’s going out for a date night or a brunch with her girls. The Rani just doesn’t have the bandwidth and the time for foundations. Yeah well when you have skin like that why would you bother with foundation. Instead she uses skin tints IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation + Glow Serum SPF 40 and likes using her hands to apply the product for a more even finish! Wait she said she also adds in a little bit of the Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer illuminating primer.
2. Concealing & Locking It All In With Powder
She then covers up her pesky acne marks and dark circles with the NARS radiant creamy concealer and then tops it off with the Hourglass Translucent Powder.
3. Big Fan Of Blush
Following up with the Rosi drops from the Drunk Elephant on the high points of her cheeks, later she adds more blush, Alia Bhatt says she clearly loves being a ball of blush with the Hourglass blush palette.
4. Her Pink and Brown Eye Look
For her eye look, she first uses a cream coloured eyeshadow base from MAC then loved Too Faced peach eyeshadow palate she uses her go-to colour palettes which tend to always be browns and pinks!
She used the pinks and browns to first dust over her lash line, then taking the light shimmery and pink color adding it to her inner corner and lower lash line which she added is a must for her because she doesn’t really apply eyeliner, believing she has hooded eyes. So her intention is to always open up her eyes as much as possible then taking the lighter shinier peaches and creams to put it above her crease!
5. Low Maintenance Brows
For her iconic brows which she reveals were untouched for the first 10 years of her career as one of India’s makeup maestros advised against it. She used the benefit brow gel brushing them up.
6. Lowkey Pillowy Lashes
For her lashes, she says she often ends up just curling her lashes and not applying any mascara but in this case she used the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk mascara.
