Pakistan won against Afghanistan in the ODI cricket match last night, twitter while commending Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan and the team is divided on whether Shadab was rightfully dismissed. Find out more...

The ODI series makes Pakistan the No. 1, world ODI Team once again even though Afghanistan gave tough competition with a massive target of 300 runs. Cricket fans while commending team Afghanistan’s batting against Pakistani balling attack which btw is known to be the best. Pakistan won 302/9 (49.5 overs)
The disappointing match soon turned into a very interesting one, when the Afghan team dismissed Shadab Khan on a Mankad attempt at 40 runs, just 10 short of a half century. The event has twitter divided, some say it was completely legal as per ICC but some say it dampens the spirit and essence of cricket, signalling poor sportsmanship! However, Shadab Khanโs gracious acceptance of the ruling showcased his sportsmanship too, something that was, fans say, was clearly lacking in the other team?
Another highlight was Naseem Shah’s bringing back the same rebuttal against Team Afghanistan, as he did in the Asia cup showing the same incredible match spirit – his two crucial boundaries securing 302 runs. The 2 instances particularly brought back life to the otherwise initially disappointing match. The win was thrilling earning Shadab Khan’s exceptional performance “Player Of The Match” award with Naseem Shahโs contributions amidst adversity earning him the title of โPlayer of the Momentโ from fans. Do you think Shadab Khan should have been dismissed in that manner?
Here’s The Twitter Take:
Rule Is Rule Or A Disgrace To The Spirit Of Cricket?
Despite being a Shadab’s biggest supporter. I personally believe “Rule is Rule” and that is for everyone. Have some mind guys and please stop crying. As Shadab himself said: “If the umpire gives it out, that means it’s out”

But then Ramiz Raja put things in perspective?
Pak -Afghan matches are not for faint hearted these days. I am old school in regard to non striker being run out by bowler in his follow through!! Law it is ,yes, but absolutely hate it.
Admirable honesty from Shadab last night. Kept walking when Farooqi appealed for the run-out. He realised the mistake he made and was willing to accept it. No intention to create a fuss, no convenience to play the matter on ‘spirit of cricket’ lines. England players should learn.
Making Shadab run out at non strikerโs end while bowling by Afghan bowler Farouqi may have been technically correct,it is against the spirit of the sports.
If something is correct the law. Why someone say it against the spirit of game. You may not like it. But it was right.
Naseem Shah’s Comic Comebacks
Naseem shah very funny Man. Shadab you beauty #PakvsAfg#AFGvPAK
Dedicating The Match To His Mother
Last Match Haris Rauf dedicated to his mother and now 2nd ODI Hero Naseem Shah dedicated that win to his mother as well. Look at Naseem Shah, all emotion appeared on his face & he can’t hide it.
Back To Being Number 1
Pakistan Once again became โ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ????????????????โ in the World under the Captaincy of Number One batter ???????????????????? ????????????????. Congratulations Pakistan, Say MashAllah.
Shadab Holding Himself Responsible
Afghanistan have world class spinners, I wanted to finish their overs and as a senior player, I have to be responsible. I was blaming myself after we lost to Zimbabwe, I don’t try to play rash shots now’ – Shadab Khan
Naseem & Shadab Getting Back In The Game
Anyway, while praising Naseem for his ability to face the pressure situation, let’s not forget to appreciate Shadab Khan for his brilliant 48-off-35. His innings brought Pakistan back in the game and so close that Naseem was able to finish it.
A True Clutch Player
People have the audacity to doubt Shadab Khan’s position in Pakistan’s XI. He is the best player of spin in the team and one of the best leg-spinners in the world. He consistently performs well in high-pressure situations. A true clutch player.
Do you think it was responsible on Shadab’s part or completely eliminating sportsman spirit and ethics from the Afghan team?
