Jawan is a psychological action thriller and the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Atlee, known for Tamil hits with Vijay like Theri, Mersal and Bigil. Jawan is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on the 7th of September. Bringing back SRK in all his glory, a true superstar whose brilliance remains unmatched in Bollywood cinema. He is the epitome of versatility, dedication and always giving a magnetic performance. With scenes that could put easily be at par with global action phenomena’s of James Bond and Mission Impossible, the action sequences looks enthralling in Jawan. There’s wide captivating landscapes, action, blood, violence, thrill, humor, emotions, patriotism. Trust us, the trailer doesn’t even give you a moment to blink giving pure goosebumps whilst many are terming it as the trailer of the century. The sound design, scale, performances, the VFX, the dialogues, the cast, direction are all adding up to be very likely a blockbuster Bollywood hasn’t seen in a while. (Oh, did we mention Pathaan)?
The trailer teases at a first of Deepika Padukone’s action scene opposite Shahrukh Khan while even seen in an entrancing song donning a Sari. The hit south director Atlee is getting much appreciation in proving his mettle even in the Hindi cinema. The combination of Atlee’s direction, SRK, Vijay Sethupati, Anirudh’s background music with Nayantara and Deepika makes it a must watch film. The trailer begins with SRK’S unmissable voice, narrating the story about a man who he terms a King who lost all his battles and is now struggles with fury, then we hear him talking about an enraged man who is hijacking Mumbai which is Shahrukh Khan himself, a Jawan! King Khan is seen in many avatars, as many as making us lose count. He is seen switching up between the good guy and bad guy roles. He plays a former soldier who is now leading a team of six women as they pull off various missions across the country. They are seen hijacking a metro! Of course while staying true to his roots, there are also his classic romance moments too with some romance numbers.
