Almas tum Itnee piyaree kiyon ho? The entire drama on one side and Salman trying to apologize to his mother on one side. Welcome to watching a hero who is not perfect in a non-toxic, much relatable way. Kuch Ankahi wins our heart.

Salman is relatable much?
It is refreshing to see Salman, a guy struggling with his bitterness, jealousy, ego and somewhat possessive tendencies. He is also so moody – traits and feelings we all experience as normal human beings. So he is not your perfect guy, but then he is gradually undergoing a journey thanks to his mother, and learning he might be wrong in assuming certain things, in expecting certain things from the woman he cares about.
A note of appreciation for Salman’s mother. The way she corrected him and refused to take his nakhras was heart winning and so lovely to see. We need more characters like Almas who send the right messages.
Battle of Egos?
Salman waiting for Aliya to ask him for help was the cutest scene. Oh dear Salman, time to maybe let go of your ego. Aliya will not give in like that. Win her with your love, not your ego…And Aliya, if you could repair your own car, then why have you been waiting for Salman to help you all along? Ahem ahem…
Azfar – Still waters run deep!
Azfar looks like he has fallen deeply for Aliya but he also can’t handle Aliya’s loyalties or her having a soft corner for Sehrish. Azfar is not just a rebellious son, he seems to have personal issues as well. He was harassing Aliya very subtly and uttered many double meaning sentences to her – probably a relatable representation of what many woman face in real life. But it could also be that he is testing her staying power to find out if she will stay put or leave, will she compromise on her principles eventually, and are her claims of loyalty mere rhetoric?
Well Azfar and Salman have one thing in common; their concern and sensitivities about the loyalties of the people in their lives.
Samiya, Shamo and Sai fur Rehman!
What a lovely conversation between Samiya and her mom. It was heart-warming to hear Shamo tell Samiya not to hide anything from her father, and that they are with her in her good and bad times.
Saif ur Rehman has no idea how to deal with Samiya. So far, strong, dominating women have been controlling him and scaring him into action (or inaction) but he doesn’t know how powerful the silent strength of Samiya’s patience and determination is .
Some more smile moments.
We are shipping Thanvi and Phuppo… can we please have a love story here? Neha’s audition scene was a relevant warning to all young girls and boys who engage in social media as a career option and desperately hope for a lucky break. Sadly, her life experiences have made Neha mature for her age.
