1. Jindo
The theme of injustice and the denial of women’s rights is expertly portrayed in Jindo. Thus, the bravery of the women who stood up against the wrongdoings and revolted against tribal patriarchy is highlighted in a poignant and impactful manner. Jindo effectively showcases the harsh realities of the women living in the area, who faced horrific injustice, and how they fought back against it. Hence, the Jindo conveys the message that labeling the victims as weak is a grave mistake because the true tyrants are those who remain silent in the face of injustice.
Jindo is produced by A2W Productions in partnership with Multiverse Entertainment. It is directed by Anjum Shahzad and written by Qurban Ali Rao. Moreover, the drama is filmed in the rustic dunes and deserts of Pakistan. The cast of Jindo includes Humaima Malick as the protagonist (Jindo), Gohar Rasheed (Hasrat) & Hajra Yamin (Falak), Nazr Ul Hassan (Daad Saeen), Samiya Mumtaz (Bindi) Faraz Ali portrays (Faqeera) and Naeema Butt’s character (Shano).
2. Jurm
The upcoming Pakistani drama, Jurm, will feature Wahaj as a character who is unjustly accused of a crime. This will result in a thrilling chase with an unpredictable conclusion, which will keep viewers on edge. The unique narrative approach taken by the crime thriller has piqued the audience’s interest and they are eagerly awaiting the release of Jurm.

It is said to be a mystery thriller (a genre our drama industry doesn’t tap into as much as we’d like). 3. 22 Qadam
22 Qadam promises to be more than a drama and delivers a powerful message to empower women to dream and follow their passions whether they be sports or science. It is an inspiring story of a girl who breaks free from societal norms and pursues her goals with confidence and determination. Moreover, 22 Qadam is aptly titled as a tribute to the 22 yards long cricket pitch and what is really refreshing about the packaging is the fact that stories are centered on a completely new and original narrative.
22 Qadam is a riveting drama directed by the talented Anjum Shahzad and written by the renowned Zeeshan Ilyas. Produced by IRK Films in collaboration with Multiverse Entertainment, this highly anticipated show is set to premiere on Green entertainment this April.
4. Idiot
Idiot’s story seems to revolve around a misfit, rebel, and thinker who challenges societal norms and questions the system since his childhood. Thus, the protagonist fights for a more just world, making “Idiot” a compelling narrative. Moreover, it seems from first look that the main lead is often deemed an outcast due to his audacity, straightforwardness, deep contemplation, and unwavering honesty. Hence, the drama presents a scenario where individuals who question the minor yet critical conditioning in our daily life are portrayed as irritating or insane, and consequently labeled as “idiots.” This raises the question of whether such derogatory labeling is justified for those who possess a unique perspective on the world around them.
The drama “Idiot” is a collaboration between Entanna Productions and Multiverse Entertainment. It is directed by Anjum Shahzad and written by Kifayat Rodani. The cast includes Mansha Pasha, Saleem Sheikh, Atiqa Odho and Shamyl Khan. Furthermore, the two OSTs for the drama series, “Haklata Kyun Hoon” composed and sung by Sahir Ali Bagga and “Farq Nai Painda” by Majid Akhter Maan, both written by Imran Raza, aptly capture the distinct characteristics of the protagonist Ahmed Ali Akbar, also, apparently labeled as the “idiot” in the show.

College Gate revolves around the challenges faced by young adults as they navigate through the generation gap, family problems, and the various antics that occur during their college years.
