The acclaimed Indian poet, lyricist, and playwright Javed Akhtar discussed how terrorists from the 2008 Mumbai attacks “still walk free” in Pakistan in a video from the 7th Faiz Festival, which was held in Lahore.
The fact that Javed was invited to an event dedicated in his honor, following his alleged anti-Pakistan statement, did not sit well with the Pakistani celebrities, who questioned the “self-respect” of those Pakistanis who showered Javed with enormous praises for him despite his “insulting” remarks on the very country that invited him as a guest.
