Her Unique Relationship With God
She spoke about her “uniquely strong relationship with God – Gila bhi sara Allah say karti thi, guidance aur dua bhi unsay karti thi. I never shared my pain with my family, never cried or complained in front of my parents. I kept that all between me and the higher power because I knew even if I shared with some one else for e.g. my sister, how hurt would they be? Why would I pass on my grief to some one else…”
When Editor, Rabia Mughni Touched Upon Divorce & Its Harshness, Whether The Scars Left Behind Heal Or Not
She shared the following: “Absolutely, you recover from them, if its an amicable divorce its much easier to recover from that, if it was a relationship consisting of emotional and physical abuse it takes much longer. It depends, what extremity was the relationship towards when you left. Nothing is permanent, yes there may be times you would think over it, but as time goes by every time you think about it, it would hurt a little less till you come to a point where it wont hurt at all.”
On Her Advise and Hope To People Who Have Recently Left Behind Relationships, Are Thinking To Begin New Ones Or Re Marry But Are Scared
“Its okay to be afraid, before starting anything new in life, thora sa dar hona, nervousness hona is absolutely alright. The only air of caution from me would be, to follow your gut, if something intrinsically doesn’t feel right, tou yaqeen janye definitely kuch theek nahi hai. Dont be scared of the fact, if it would work or not, because unless you try it, how will you know? Try and you may be rewarded in better ways than you imagined. Human beings are different, every man is not the same, every woman is not the same. Its possible what you went through was to prepare you for the most beautiful things that lie ahead or maybe a little more challenge before you get to those beautiful things.”
Speaking More On Her Character In Fairy Tale 2, She Shared More On Whether Niggo Jee Is Insecure Of Umeed?
She says: Umeed say ko masla nae hai, masla uskay chaos say hai and now Farjad is madly in love. So Niggo Jee, the mom is like woah, yeh larka jo aik minute tass say mass nae hota tha ab ek ek ghanta late office jaraha hai, jaldi ghar wapis araha hai. She is concerned, she is not insecure kay ek larki akay take over karai hai. She is not one of those moms. Every character needs its cute, comic element so what you guys have seen in the case of Mimi and Niggo is a little bit of satire –apnay attempts nae dekhi Niggo Jee ke, sari attempts tou fail hojati hai jo wo dramo say seekhti hai.
Her Life After Her Divorce
The relationship I was in, it was not working out and it ended amicably. When that ended, I moved from the US to Dubai, where I lived for 1 and a half year freelancing as a make up artist and I was doing a-lot of commercials side by side. The funny thing is, in 99% of those commercials, they used to cast me as an Emirati. They used to say your face looks so Khaleeji, you dont look Pakistani, I was very happy. While no one in Pakistan casts me in commercials so probably they dont even find me Pakistani here.
When asked why didn’t she want to come back to Pakistan right after: I didn’t come back to Pakistan immediately, (she cautioned the next part might be a bit hard to hear) but its still very rampant in our culture if some ones marriage doesn’t work out, so people and their questions are very probing and rude. As far as I am concerned, I would have handled it but I didn’t want my parents to go through it everyday, kya hua, kyun hua, kaisay hua? So Dubai was close enough to home.
How Her Second Husband Proposed To Her & She Kept Refusing To Meet Him Before
The story is so unreal, I was shooting this drama – Sammi and my co-star Nadia Afghan and I, we used to often post selfies so a friend of hers saw one and asked who is she? Nadia went on to say she’s my friend, she’s a single mom. So Nadia’s friend (her future husband) said she’s very cute and asked to be introduced.
Saman says she flat out refused Nadia, saying I am not interested, I guess I was still healing. Every few days I would get a message, Saman ek dafa baat kerlo, wo meri jaan nae chorega. Then I went to Boston, my mom was with me too. Nadia too was coming to New York for a film shoot and she asked Saman, Boston
mai hou? Wo bhi Boston mai hai, khuda ka wasta ek dafa mil lou usey, khudi mana kerdena. I asked my Ami and she said of-course beta, I thought I would go and refuse once again. So I went for coffee and at the end of the coffee he said caught me off guard and said, Saman Ansari will you marry me? I told my Ami and nana and khal. Turns out when we dug deeper, his aunts and my aunts and grand parents had been family friends for years in Boston.” What followed was his family in Pakistan called her parents, sent the rishta and a year later they got married. “I thought maybe he was just infatuated a bit too much, hojata hai na, log dramay mai dekhtay hain kitni pyari hai tou isay shaadi kerletay hain but he really wanted to, it was his first wedding. I was just blessed in so many ways!”
On What Was It Like To Work With Sehar Khan & Hamza Sohail In Fairy Tale?
She said: I love it, Hamza is such a wonderful boy, I got to work with him first in Badshah Begum, my character was his phupo. Itna tameezdar, itna classy, of-course he is extremely charming. His manners are charming, whenever I enter a room, he stands up to receive me, when I sit in my car, he will close my door for me even though I tell him I can manage. These things are so charming because you don’t get to see them anymore, he is very polite, very focused on his work but hasi mazak bhi bohat chalta hai.
Whereas, Sehar is such an amazing actor, uss larki mai itna scope hai, she speaks with her eyes, which is her biggest strength, kyunkey humari industry mai, mai naam say gin sakti hou 4 ya 5 log jo ankhou say acting kartay hai and she is one of them. Talking about her infectious and lively energy, she said: With Sehar around, its always something or the other is going around on the sets of Fairy Tale 2.
