With an old school romantic feel, Tumharey Husn Kay Naam is a love story which is developing at its own pace, Salma and Sikandar are gradually making a place in our hearts.

Vintage Romance Feels
With a vintage kind of nostalgic feel, Tumharey Husn Kay Naam takes time to settle in and make its place in this world of fast-paced dramas.
Men Following Their Dreams
Sikandar’s character is immediately likeable. It is worth mentioning that the drama is highlighting the cause of letting men follow their passion rather than forcing them to sacrifice their dreams purely for economic benefit. Sikander leaves medical college and joins an Art college to pursue his calling, showing how men can also choose to follow their hearts.
Sikandar’s mother is also supportive of his dream and instead of emotionally blackmailing him, is helping facilitate his journey. Salma, a student at the Art college, loves to sing which is not so appreciated by her mother, (though she is not toxic towards Salma), but is wholeheartedly supported by her father. A chance accident in which Sikander’s cricket ball hits Salma, creates an opportunity for the two to get to know each other.
The Lighter Side
The narrative adds a lighter side to the story and breaks the monotony effectively. The drama also treats us to light moments, with Salma and her friends reading out Sikandar’s apology letter and also through Salma reading out the apology in front of her family in comic fashion. The narrative helps strike a balance between romance and serious conversations to brings a smile to one’s face.
Though Salma’s parents seem very supportive of her, we wonder what will motivate them to choose a materialistic future over love for their daughter.
We are looking forward to dive further into the world of Tumharey Husn Kay Naam in the coming weeks.
