Written by Zeeshan Ilyas and directed by Anjum Shahzad, the drama counters the stereotypes and negative narratives in the society around women venturing out in the world of sports. You get to watch a gripping story of women breaking barriers in the sports world, amongst all the knee jerking competition and their painstaking journeys. Starring Hareem Farooq and Wahaj Ali in lead roles, the show also stars Kinza Razzak, Shahnawaz Zaidi, Nida Mumtaz, Alina Abbas Shah and Zainab Waseem.
22 Qadam features an intertwined world of cricket and women empowerment for audiences to be captivated about Fari’s story, Farien Akhtar (Hareem Farooq) who is a lively, fearless, non conformist girl who dreams of becoming a cricketer to play in the national team. The drama also stars opposite Hareem, nation’s heartthrob Wahaj Ali as Junaid!
